Capernwray Dive Centre is known for its clean clear waters. Assessable for everyone we invite you to join us for a midweek timed swim, choosing between various distances.
Duathlon at Kirkistown Race Track. Race to finish before dark in a 1.5-7.5-1.5 mile run-bike-run distance, on a smooth, flat 1.5 mile full lap circuit with unique transition area inside the car bays along the pit lane. The ideal venue to race or spectate.
Probably the most spectacular marathon in the UK or Ireland, the Causeway Coast Marathon will be an out and back route. The route is alomst entirely off road and will pass The Giants Causeway, Dunseverick Harbour, White Park Bay and Ballintoy Harbour.
The event is a circular walk from Birdlip Village Hall. A repeat of the 'hilly route' taking in Bisley, Slad Valley, Haresfield & Painswick Beackons & Coopers Hill. 18 mile route for walkers only.

Mardale Magic is the successor to the 3 Rings Of Shap. 34.5 km & 1064 m of ascent. From Shap the route is Wet Sleddale Reservoir, Mosedale Beck, Swindale Head, Old Corpse Road, Mardale Head, Haweswater Reservoir & joining the Coast to Coast back to Shap.
Our 2018 event will be along the 2017 route (backwards!) along a beautiful stretch of the Norfolk coastline
A 23 mile walk/run from Gargrave Village Hall, Gargrave, Skipton, BD23 3RD in the picturesque setting of Malhamdale visiting Airton, Kirkby Malham, Weets Top, Winterburn Reservoir, Flasby, Stirton and retuning via the Leeds/Liverpool Canal to Gargrave.
30, 24 or 14 miles in 11.5 hours from Cilcain Village Hall. The route climbs the Clwydian Hills to follow the Offa's Dyke Path along the ridge returning via wooded country and Loggerheads country park.

FEARmanagh adventure race features trail running, cycling and kayaking and will push competitors to their limits along a carefully selected route that spans some of West Fermanagh's most iconic and challenging landscapes.
The Lakeland Four Passes is a challenging route of 19(ish) miles taking in 4 of the Lake District's most scenic valleys & their adjoining passes. The route starts & finishes at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale, at the southern end of Derwent Water.
Lost Lad is a 8.5 mile fell race with 1981ft of elevation. Starting from the iconic dam wall at Fairholmes, the route will lead you out onto the shores of the Derwent reservoirs. Set to become one of the classics in the Peakdistrict.
The 18km route takes in the rugged & beautiful coastline of Holy Island. With 6 run sections and 5 swims, each leg offers something new with a surprise around every corner! Enter as a team or go it alone as a solo!

The ROC Mountain Marathon is a two-day fell running and navigation challenge for solos and pairs with an overnight camp. Famously relaxed and welcoming, the fun and friendly atmosphere has proven a big success every year since 2007.

This epic 100 mile Two Moors Ultra (TMU) links Exmoor with Dartmoor via mid Devon combes and patchwork fields. It includes a marathon from Lynmouth to Knowstone and a 50 mile Castle 2 Coast Ultra from Drogo Castle to Wembury.
Taking in a double summit of Wansfell Pike with its views across Ambleside, this event is no walk in the park. Expect lung-busting climbs & quad-crunching descents. The final descent to the finish is one of the finest downhill sections in the Lakes.
The 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross is staged in the Yorkshire Dales National Park every year at the end of September. It is the toughest and biggest Cyclo-Cross event in the UK.
Taking inspiration from New York Tunnel 2 Towers, the Firefighting Fundraisers of South Wales Fire Service have partnered with New York to bring you the Cardiff Tunnel 2 Towers. The event is a 5k Charity walk/run for all to take part and have fun!

The Dip in the dark is a swim with a difference, starting at 7pm on Friday 5th October 2018 with mulled wine for all swimmers :-)
The route has been chosen because it's a great opportunity to explore the Peak District, with brutal climbs and fast descents. The distance just falls within the ultra category so if you are looking for your first ultra this could be the one.
The Glen Clova Xtreme Duathlon 2018 located around the Glens of Clova and Doll, takes place on 6th October 2018. The Duathlon is supported by Dundee Tiso, The Bank Bar, Dundee and The Glen Clova Hotel, with all proceeds going to Tayside Mountain Rescue.
The challenge is to complete a 50 mile circumnavigation of the stunning Gower peninsula on foot. It is suitable for both runners & fast walkers. The Gower Ultra Bach (Little) is a new race following 34 miles of Coast line from Llhanrhidian to the Mumbles.
The Hope PMBA series consists of 5 unique events, each with their own character but are all fun. We hope you enjoy the variety but if some aren't for you just do the ones that appeal.
The Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge, Junior event is a running/mountain biking Duathlon in Dalbeattie Forest for 8-15 year olds. Competitors can enter individually and do both the run and the bike or in a team of one runner and one biker.
Circular 50m walk starting from Forres walking around the S&E of Forres, then heading along the Moray Coast paths and beaches to Lossiemouth. From here inland to Elgin on old railway line, then back to Forres via forestry, country lanes and Heldon Hill.

The Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge is a Duathlon which takes place entirely in Dalbeattie Forest. The event is a challenging 10 mile run on rough forest roads and a 16 mile MTB section which follows the 7stanes Red Grade Hardrock Trail.

The ‘Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay’ is a fell running relay race. It is set in the heart of the Lake District Fells over four legs and is the longest-running mountain relay in the country.
Round 1 - Give it Welly in Ballykelly. There will be five trailquests in the 2018/19 series for pairs of riders with the usual female, male and mixed categories, to be crowned as North Coast Trailquest Champions!!
The Sheffield Tententen sees its 9th Edition in 2018. A multi-terrain 10k that has the joy of running at is heart, and a creative course that reflects this. Supporting this is the Funrun for the 4-14 year olds that attracts great support.

Starting and finishing in the Moorland village of Peter Tavy and nestled below the wild Tors of West of Dartmoor. The Dartmoor 3 in ONE offers 3 races of 3 distances, all in ONE day. 22.5 miles in total. Races can also be entered individually.
This is a fell race is over a rough, tough course with almost exclusively rocky and slippy ground. The weather in October is rarely 'pleasant' and the fells are often clagged in, making navigation difficult on a course with many pathless sections.

Lancaster Duathlon is based at GreenLands Farm Village, a great family friendly venue. The event is a 5km run, 24km bike & a final 5km run. It's 'lumpy' but it's quiet & scenic so you won't notice your heavy breathing as you'll be looking at the views.
The Parbold Duathlon is on 14th October 2018, starting at 8:30am. The event will be based at the Farmers Arms Pub, Bispham, Parbold, Lancashire and starts with a 5k run followed by a 27k cycle and a final 5k run.

There will be 2 races. 8.4 mile race which is 2 laps of the course and a 4.2 mile race which is 1 lap. These races will take place just before the Last One Standing Race.
The 'Last One Standing' is a race where competitors have 1 hour to complete a 4.2 mile loop. Competitors must be at the start line ready to start the loop again on the hour, every hour until only one competitor remains.

Our latest event is Dark Run, now in its second year. Think Park Run but in the dark, the course is 5000m (5K) long. The event is based near Dalby Forest Courtyard, Low Dalby, Pickering. This year we have full professional electronic timing.
Starting from Pitstone Memorial Hall with a choice of 26, 18 and 13 mile routes, the walk follows mainly field paths, tracks and woods through undulating countryside, with good views from the hills traversed.

The Vale of Glamorgan Coastal Ultra is a 32 mile tour of the entire coast of the Vale of Glamorgan from the pier at Penarth through to the estuary at Ogmore taking in sandy beaches and exposed cliff tops along the way.
“A Coventry Way” is an officially recognised long distance path, which circumnavigates the city of Coventry. It is 40 miles long, the majority of which is off-road, and passes through mainly agricultural land in Warwickshire and Solihull.

The Northumbria group of the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) is proud to have been given the honour of hosting the annual hundred mile walk. The Hadrian Hundred Marshal's Walk is only open to people helping on the main Hadrian Hundred event.

6.5 laps of the National Trust grounds at NE16 6BG for the marathon. A very undulating event. Also a 12 hour event starting at 7pm and a 24 hour event starting at 2pm.
A stunning 16km Swimrun course set at the foot of Snowdon. The short but challenging event will have you swimming in the deep clear waters of Llyn Padarn and running through historic woodlands and towering quarries.
The race will start at Castle Acre at 7am. You will follow the Peddars Way to the coast at Holme Next-the-Sea & then follow the coastal path all the way to Cromer. There will be a strict 16 hour time limit, with cut offs at Burnham & Stiffkey checkpoints.

The Midnight Mountain Marathon is no ordinary marathon. Set in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons, the course takes you through forests, over streams, past waterfalls and up mountains.

The Lakeland Four Passes is a challenging route of 19(ish) miles taking in 4 of the Lake District's most scenic valleys & their adjoining passes. The route starts & finishes at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale, at the southern end of Derwent Water.
