2 Day Basic Navigation Techniques (Silver Award for the NNAS)
The Allendale Challenge is one of the toughest challenge walks around & covers some of the finest peat bogs in the Pennines. From Allendale the route takes in Hard Rigg, Black Hill, Kilhope Law before returning via the Spartylea, The Drag, & Ladelwell
This is a scenic route with 4400ft of ascent, via Loughrigg Tarn, Skelwith Bridge, High Tilberthwaite, Coniston and Tarn Hows then Cumbria Way back to Ambleside. Runners and walkers welcome.
A route around 5 Trig Points of the South Pennines, the most northerly point being Blackstone Edge.

The Oban Sportive includes an 89 mile and a 56 mile road course. The 56 mile course is quoted as one of the hardest Sportive courses around with repetitive short steep climbs and is on mostly quiet single track roads in the heart of Argyll.

A choice of 18 or 26 miles walk/run. This largely off road route follows historic & picturesque Cambridgeshire Countryside, following the valley of the River Great Ouse, passing through historic St. Ives and its surrounding villages.
The 5th edition of this popular trail running event on the footpaths, tracks and trails within the spectacular surroundings of the Southern Peak District. Choice of 25.7 km/16 miles or 10.5 km/ 6.5 miles.

15.5 km, 870m of ascent. The race starts and finishes at the Ormidale Pavilion in Brodick. It follows the main road north to Brodick Castle drive. It then climbs to the top of Goatfell via the standard 'tourist' path, returning the same way to the finish.
In its 4th year we are back running 26.2 Miles from Scotland’s 1st port in Burnmouth along the coast through Berwick and onwards to Goswick & Beal along spectacular beaches to the Pilgrims causeway & the final challenge of the dunes on Lindisfarne Island

Navigation for runners - 1 day training event in essential navigation skills for runners of all abilities, based in Aviemore, Scotland
The race will start at Castle Acre at 7am. You will follow the Peddars Way to the coast at Holme Next-the-Sea & then follow the coastal path all the way to Cromer. There will be a strict 16 hour time limit, with cut offs at Burnham & Stiffkey checkpoints.
The ethos for the event is to get women out there racing where they've never raced before, alongside seasoned podium achievers - giving confidence to the inexperienced, show casing the skills women mountain bikers have, while having fun on bikes.
Solstice 100 is a unique 5 person relay event covering 100 miles, looping through the picturesque parkland and woodland of Bodrhyddan Estate in North Wales. Complete the challenge by running the full distance in 17 hours between sunrise and sunset.

The Downland Challenge was an old school 30 mile Ultra put on by Haywards Heath Harriers until 2014. It was many locals first Ultra and was hard, only had 3 aid stations with only Jelly babies and water, we are bringing this back to the racing calendar!
