The Beast of the Blacks 20 & 40 mile Trail Event will not be forgiving, you will be challenged by this spectacular route whether you are an elite or beginner trail enthusiast, come and tame the Beast.
Level D urban orienteering event at Alston. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Following British Orienteering's guidance, the event will be pre-entry only - NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

The Altra West Highland Way Race is a 95 mile ultra marathon along the route of the West Highland Way. It starts at Milngavie Station and finishes in Fort William. There is a time limit of 35 hours. Adequate relevant experience is needed to enter.
This is a road ultra marathon, starting by the Cuan at Strangford, runners will follow the coast towards Killyleagh, Whiterock, Comber, Newtownards, Kircubbin and finish at Portaferry. It’s 0.6 miles by ferry but we will take the scenic route which is 53!

The Marriott's Way Marathon follows the Marriott’s Way from Norwich with the Marriot's Way Half-Marathon starting at Whitwell Station. Both races will finish at the Town Hall in Aylsham Market Square.
The area is open fell. A series of ridges, running roughly east-west. Mostly well-grazed, fast runnable grass with some shallow marshy areas on lower ground. Patches of bracken which do not impede progress greatly. Interesting crag and boulder features.

CADAIR X is one of the toughest half-marathon routes in the UK, summiting one of Snowdonia's most iconic mountains, Cadair Idris. The route takes you past glacial lakes, ancient woodland and stunning viewpoints of Snowdonia National Park.
A rough, tough, classic fell race packed with variety. This one definitely takes you for a big day out into the wild Western Lakes. On a clear day it's magic, but if the clag's in then the map will definitely need to be out.
