A new 50-mile countryside route encircling the city of Coventry organised by LDWA Heart of England. Based on the original A Coventry Way 40-mile route with additional points of interest, including castles, manors and outlying villages. Diversions due to expanding urbanisation, HS2 works, housing developments and pipeline constructions have made it impossible to restrict the route distance to 40 miles. The new route of 50 miles enables greater flexibility and path options when enforced path closures occur.
Headquarters at the Heart of England Social Club, Berkswell Road, Meriden, CV7 7LB (GR SP 244 818).
Registration from 07:00. Rolling starts: 08:00-11:00 (dependent on expected pace; please be aware of checkpoint opening/closing times).
