The Anglezarke Amble is a Challenge Walk taking in Rivington, Anglezarke and Turton Moors, through an area known locally as “Little Lake District”. There is a choice of distances for walkers, either 17 or 24 miles. Runners can only do the long route.
The 'Last One Standing' is a race where competitors have 1 hour to complete a 4.2 mile loop. Competitors must be at the start line ready to start the loop again on the hour, every hour until only one competitor remains.

Black Combe is tough late-winter race with some good long climbs and often quite interesting weather. The final descent is one of the best of the year and there’s always a pie and a brew in the village hall afterwards.
A run round the ‘Pendle Massif’ visiting parts of the hill less visited by other races. The terrain is a mixture of defined path and boggy moorland trod with some steep climbs, grassy descents and some route choice.
2 Day intermediate Navigation Techniques (Silver Award for the NNAS)
A tough, high moor route around Saddleworth Moor visiting 10 local Reservoir's. Each participant must navigate themselves around the route, visiting each checkpoint in the correct order.
The Scottish Winter Swimming Championships will be held at Taymouth Marina on 5th + 6th March 2022. This is an International Winter Swimming Association event and will include short individual races, team relays and a tough endurance challenge.

A Handicap race taking in Flat Fell and Dent, there is usually a long prize list and hot drinks and a snack.
Set in the picturesque Dee Valley, the race is just over 6 miles in length with 2100ft of ascent. It follows a route up to and along the Llantysilio Mountain ridge, with a final climb up to the highest point which is Moel y Gamelin at 1893ft.
The twenty mile Ullswater Way opened at Easter 2016 and our inaugural event was in October 2016. We now offered two versions; Ullswater Way is 20 miles, whilst the Challenge route is 24 miles. UC takes a high level fell path around the head of Glencoyne.

Category BL race across the best of the local landscape around Heptonstall in the upper Calder Valley. The 25 kilometres of route takes in a mixture of steep-sided wooded valleys, upland pasture and pathless moorland.

The Rainow 5 is a trail/fell race on the edge of the Peak District and tackles a hilly 5 mile route taking in White Nancy and the Kerridge ridge. Teas and cakes served post race. All proceeds from this race are donated to local charities.
The Bealach is the UK's biggest road climb with a 626m ascent from sea level in just 10km. Starting and finishing in Shieldaig, experience fabulous unspoilt landscape with outstanding views of the sea and hills with a closed road up and over the Bealach.
The Dales High Way itself is 90 miles, for those wishing to do 100 miles there is a loop via Dufton and High Cup Nick that adds an extra 13 miles and 2000ft+ climb after Appleby.
