Race entry does not require competitors to have previous experience of fell races though experience of traversing steep fell terrain and familiarity with winter weather conditions on the fells is recommended. BRING YOUR FULL KIT including a whistle.
The Gathering Winter Fools Relay attracts many local teams for a fun social race around a circular route taking in footpaths, trails and quiet roads surrounding Keighley. 4 Legs, run in pairs, with low level change over points invariably outside a pub !
It’s back! The Kong Winter Fell Series returns! Get ready for some fast-paced fell racing action! Prizes will be awarded both for the winners on the day and for the overall series winners in all the usual age categories!

A great event for both newcomers and those experienced in urban orienteering. Morpeth is an attractive old town on the banks of the river Wansbeck. It offers varied orienteering, including Carlisle Park, woodland areas and the ginnels of the town centre.

Epping Forest Far East offers high quality runnable mature woodland, with limited pockets of denser woodland or more permanent undergrowth. The area is compact and contoured with several prominent streams and marshes.
Fully signed Trail Ultra on the North Downs Way and Surrey Wildlife Trust reserve of ancient woodland at Norbury Park. A fairly level 50k route with 2986 ft ascent in the whole race makes it accessible to many and ideal for a 50k PB!

The Chiltern Kanter is a MAP reading walk, its to complete a set of questions at grid references that use mainly field paths, tracks, woods and some roads through undulating countryside with good views from the hills traversed.
The course starts in Bampton Village and follows an out and back course along the shores of Haweswater in a remote and dramatic mountain valley. This is a perfect race for those training for full marathons like London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Category AS Fell Race, covering 10.9km / 610m. Route is flagged, steep rough descents and climbs.
AS Fell Race covering 7.2 km/543m (4.5 miles/1781ft) organised by Keswick Athletic Club. Return of the traditional race route to the summit of Causey Pike. The race will be run under FRA rules and full kit required plus mandatory base layer.
Covering approximately 21 miles/35 km and 3000ft/850m of ascent the course takes in the villages of Grindleford, Froggatt, Eyam, Great Longstone, Edensor and Baslow linking them together with paths, tracks and open moorland of the White Peak.
A Handicap race taking in Flat Fell and Dent, there is usually a long prize list and hot drinks and a snack.
Set in the picturesque Dee Valley, the race is just over 6 miles in length with 2100ft of ascent. It follows a route up to and along the Llantysilio Mountain ridge, with a final climb up to the highest point which is Moel y Gamelin at 1893ft.

Run Falmouth 2025 - an undulating, picturesque half marathon in the heart of Cornwall. The route follows the stunning coast before heading inland. This is the 4th race in the Cornwall Road Running Grand Prix Series, and takes place entirely on the road.

12-hour ultra marathon on the Formartine & Buchan railway line between Maud station and Auchnagatt village hall, the total distance from Maud to Auchnagatt is estimated 4.5miles, competitors to run as much distance as they can within the time limit.
A Kilometer of Vert in Kernow - the 'KVK' is the first and only Vertical ascent based race in the South West. Two laps of a specifically designed course to reach the magic number of 1000m (a Kilometer!) of ascent in 15 mile total distance.

The Ben Cruachan Inn Hill Climb is a private road timed hill climb rising 300m over just short of 3 miles. Starting from Loch Awe village and finishing at the Cruachan Dam.
This scenic 50k event features a beautiful route through villages using footpaths, and minor roads. With checkpoints every 6-8 miles, and various refreshments available at the end, it promises to be a memorable experience.
