Salt Cellar Fell Race, Peak District, Fairholmes Visitor Centre Friday 1st August 24 at 7pm, Distance: 10.9km (7.1 miles), Ascent: 486m (1535ft) – Category BM.
Borrowdale Fell Race, AL, 17 miles including 6500 feet of ascent (27km, 2000m). Start and finish in Rosthwaite village at 11am. 350 race limit.
The race begins with a full lap of the games field before heading towards the hill. 3.5 miles.

The South Shields 10 Mile takes you along the beautiful coastline of South Shields. The event is highly regarded in the North East running calendar and a great benchmark of fitness before the Great North Run in September.
The race is nearly all off road, following the beautiful River Dart. It starts and finishes on Borough Park and uses the Totnes Leisure Centre as its Race HQ, where there are plenty of toilets, showers and changing facilities.
The race is a 1-mile Fun Run around the perimeter of Borough Park. This always proves really popular and gives all those taking part the chance to complete a safe, measured 1-mile course. 
A testing off-road, beach and dunes 10km. A beach start, running towards Gwithian then taking steps to Gwithian Car Park at mile 3, followed by 2 miles of Towans paths include a final 'Dune of Doom' before returning to the beach for the final 1.2 miles.

Gateshead Trail 10k - SCENIC | FAST | FUN - 10km of multi-terrain trails around the beautiful Derwent county park just a few miles from Newcastle and Gatesheads' vibrant centres.
The ultramarathon with only one finisher. This involves everyone starting out on a 10km loop of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs After 4 laps the elimination laps start and the person last to finish the next lap will be eliminated.
The Simon Wake Comrie Hills Relay is a 43k relay race with 1,733m of ascent, run in 4 stages starting and finishing in Comrie village. The race follows a route up and around the hills on either side of beautiful Glen Lednock.
Take on the challenging 7.5-mile long route or a 4-mile short route.  Both courses feature varied terrain, including roads, open fields, footpaths, and plenty of hills, all set against the backdrop of stunning countryside and Exmoor views. 
Distance – 6.12 miles / 9.84km Ascent – 1804 feet / 550m This race was started in 1992 and was a championship race in 1993, 2005 and 2011. The event centre is at the Village Hall where there will be catering. Off road parking will be available.
