This is a fell race is over a rough, tough course with almost exclusively rocky and slippy ground. The weather in October is rarely 'pleasant' and the fells are often clagged in, making navigation difficult on a course with many pathless sections.
Manor Water Hill Race, 10.5 miles, 2450 feet / 17 km, 745 m. The race is an integral part of the Manor Water Sheepdog Trial NOTE: REGISTRATION FIELD and RACE ROUTE (same as 2025)
This 50 mile LDWA members only event will be two loops with each starting and finishing in Crowcombe Village Hall. One loop will head towards the Brendon Hills and the other onto the Quantocks, showcasing West Somerset in its autumn colours.

The Black Beacon trail races are linear long distance running races crossing the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and Black Mountains. There are 4 race distances to choose -100mile, 50mile, 50k and 21mile.
A 6 hour lapped trail event run over well maintained trails and footpaths at Linacre Reservoir in North East Derbyshire, next to the eastern edge of the Peak District.
A race of two polarized halves! Starting with flat and fast trail running along Monsal Dale, the second half then takes a direct line up and down Fin Cop before a final climb to the finish at Monsal Head. (9.5km/500m)

The choice of two Winter Ultras to Cromer on the Weavers' Way. 50km from Stalham and 100k from Gt Yarmouth. This is a beautiful but potentially challenging event. With 10 and 19 hours respectively, the perfect winter ultras even for beginners.
36 Miles, 821ft of elevation. An outstanding, largely flat, circular route. The route follows the well sign-posted Wirral Circular Trail in an anticlockwise direction, and takes in the beauty of the Wirral Peninsula coast before following the Wirral Way.

Having run the kristalmarathon, a marathon held underground in a working salt mine in Germany we really wanted to bring the experience to the UK.  We  found a venue and the UK's 1st fully underground marathon its back for its second edition!
The route is a 5.8 Mile fell race that takes in some of the most scenic areas of Marsden. From Slabbed Pennine way, to boggy treats, this route has a challenge underfoot for all!

The Seeley Cup is one of the longest running 10ks in Northern Ireland having been going since 1982. The annual 10k race attracts a top-class field every year and follows a relatively flat route along the Ormeau Embankment and winds through Ormeau Park.
The original 8.5 mile canter through the shadowy tracks and trails of the private Flete Estate. The race includes a double crossing of the Erme Estuary. Now with a Half Marathon option too

The Winter Downs 100 is a 100 mile continuous trail run. The route is a point to point around the South of England, the heartland of our event taking on the South Downs Way, Wayfarers Walk, St Swithuns Way and the North Downs Way, finishing near Box Hill.
Walk or run one or more of three loop routes of 11.6 miles; 7.2 miles; 4.2 miles in the Holmfirth surrounds, hosted by one of the LDWAs friendliest groups. Starting and finishing from Brockholes Village Hall, Holmfirth.

Silent Night is the dark festive cousin of Chapelfell Top Fell Race. A classic AS out and back fell race climbing to Chapelfell Top (703m) in Weardale, run entirely in the dark. Rough and pathless terrain, experience required. 6.6km, 370m ascent.

The Hardmoors 26.2 is a series of 6 challenging Trail Marathons based in various beautiful locations in the North York Moors and on the Cleveland Heritage Coastline. Saltburn races are the first in the series, taking place in February.

The Beast of the Blacks 10, 20 & 40 mile Ultra Trail Event will not be forgiving, you will be challenged by this spectacular route whether you are an elite or beginner trail enthusiast, come and try to tame the Beast. Canicross friendly.
A 30 mile trail ultra for runners & walkers. The route is largely off-road, on mixed terrain, with 3000 ft of elevation. The route hugs the Pennines to the East & the Howgills to the South. It runs through the beautiful countryside in the Eden Valley.
First run in 2016 to support the village following the loss of the Bridge in the, 'The Daffy Run' was so popular you asked us to do it again. Full distance is 13 miles, on an 'out-and-back' route to Hallin Fell. Do as much or as little as you want.
A tough, high moor route around Saddleworth Moor visiting 10 local Reservoir's. Each participant must navigate themselves around the route, visiting each checkpoint in the correct order.
A run round the ‘Pendle Massif’ visiting parts of the hill less visited by other races. The terrain is a mixture of defined path and boggy moorland trod with some steep climbs, grassy descents and some route choice.
