All teams must be finished by 17.00 hours, which is a time allowance of 17 hours. We will have mass starts on each transition to ensure this happens. Because of the length of the entire route (116.5 miles), there will be limited marketing (mainly at transitions and other areas advised by the Path Rangers) by the route is the Path itself. There are no options on route choice. Once runners have cleared each checkpoint, the race Director assumes that they are responsible for themselves and it is the continuing competitors who will be focused upon. The Path is mixed terrain, and rough in places, so appropriate footwear is recommended. Full body cover, gloves, hat, whistle, Leg Map and emergency food is required by all runners. There will be NO kit checks so this is the responsibility of each runner to comply.
