Entry Fee: the sum paid by a Participant upon entering the Event;

Participant: an applicant who pays the Entry Fee.

I am a Participant and acknowledge that by participating in the Event, I agree to the terms below and the Conditions. I also understand that I am entering into a contract with the Event organiser and not UK Athletics Limited. 

A change in government legislation regarding data protection called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018.  As a Club we need to make sure that we only hold the data we need and that we hold that data securely.  The information that is held by Teignbridge Trotters will not be shared with any third party.  The information will be specifically used for the administration of the race and will be kept securely by Teignbridge Trotters.  The information will be deleted within 2 weeks following the race.  Your name and age category will also be published in the race results which will be posted and kept on our website.  If you do not wish to have your name published in the results, please let the Entries Secretary know.  

However, we would like to retain your name and email address so that we may inform you of future Teignbridge Trotters races. If you do not give your consent for Teignbridge Trotters to retain this information, please let the Entries Secretary know.

We do not offer deferrals.  We only offer refunds in the unlikely event that we have to cancel the race.

Race numbers must be worn on the front of competitor’s vest/shirt throughout the race. The number must not be defaced, cut down or altered in any way. It is against the rules to give your number to a non-entered runner. Please complete the details on the rear of the number for emergency reasons.

FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THAT OF ALL RUNNERS STRICTLY NO MUSIC HEADPHONES AND EARPHONES DURING THE RACE. Runners ignoring this rule will be disqualified.

I declare that I am an amateur as defined by ARC rules that I am medically fit to run and understand that I enter at my own risk. The organisers shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage arising as consequence of my participation in the Ladies 10k. I will be 15 years of age or older on the day of the race.
