West Midlands League - Wrockwardine Wood

We have extended the closing date for entries until Wednesday 30th.  There are now limits in place for each course based on the number of maps we have ordered.  There will likely be very limited entries on the day.

Venue:  Wrockwardine Wood and surrounding streets, Near Donnington Telford. 

Car Parking:    At Oakengates Leisure Centre, New Road, Wrockwardine Wood, TF2 7AB 

Map: 1: 5,000 with 5m contour interval, printed on A3 Waterproof paper.

Terrain:  Woodland with contour detail and a good path network. Longer courses include urban streets 

Courses: Brown (8.6km), Blue (7.1km), Green (4.5km), Short Green (3.7km), Very short Green (2.7km), Light Green (3.6km), Orange (2.2km), Yellow (2.0km) and White (1.5km).

Distances subject to final controlling. 

NOTE  Brown, Blue and Green courses will have road crossings 

Entries:  Si Entries  Seniors £10. Juniors £3. Non BOF members £12   

Limited Entries on the day, subject to map availability.  Cash or card payment. 

Registration: 10am-12pm. Starts: 10:30am till 12:30pm. Courses close at 14:30pm. 

Facilities: Registration, EOD, Toilets and download all in Leisure centre. 

Sportident: Electronic punching will be used. Dibbers available to hire £1. Lost dibbers will be charged at £40. 

Safety: Whistles must be carried. In case of bad weather cagoules may be compulsory. Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Full leg cover. 

Photography: Anyone wishing to use a camera more capable than on a smartphone or compact camera, must register with the organiser of the event prior to the event taking place. No cameras are to be used in areas people are changing, which includes the car park.
