Trail Blazers is our fun and friendly enduro-style event for young riders aged 6 to 16. Designed as a morning-only race, Trail Blazers gives budding bikers the chance to challenge themselves on exciting timed stages in a safe and supportive environment at Nevis Range.
This is a taster-style event where the focus is on building confidence, having fun and giving young riders a feel for what enduro is all about!
Riders aged 8–16 will take on three trails, while riders aged 6–7 will complete two trails. All trails can be ridden as many times as riders like within the three-hour window.
Each time a rider starts a trail, their timing chip will record their run from top to bottom. At the end of the three hours, the fastest time from each trail will be combined to create the rider’s overall event time.
Riders aged 8–16 must ride all three trails at least once to complete the event. Riders aged 6–7 must ride both of their trails at least once.
All riders must hand in their timing chip at the end of the event to ensure their times are recorded.
This is a standalone event and will not overlap with the Day and Night Enduro.
Good to know: The entire event takes place on our lower trails, so no gondola access is required. Get ready to tackle the challenge head-on!
Please note: If you feel Trail Blazers may be too challenging for your six or seven-year-old, we also have Mini Blazers. This is a simpler event held in our car park, making it a great introduction for younger or less experienced riders.
