The Cape Wrath Ultra route is a mix of well defined tracks, smaller trails and featureless Scottish hillside. Even on the larger tracks, a wrong turning could easily end your race. Navigation skills are essential for efficient travel through the week, saving much needed time and energy.
On this course we will build fundamental map and compass skills, giving you the confidence you need for your training and racing. We will also look at getting the best out of online resources to help you with virtual recces, as well as looking at the best way to use GPS technologies.
