In 2016, the Chinley Community Association decided to put the six red phone boxes in our parish to better use: adopting them from BT, and installing six defibrillators, at a cost of £1500 each. Those defibs are now nearing the end of their lives, so we are organising this run to help fund their replacements. 

Navigate to all six defibs on this 10+ km (6+ mile) run. All of your donations will go towards keeping these defibrillators running.

Race day

We'll provide you with a paper map. Start any time between 11am and 12pm and navigate the unmarked course in any order to our six defibs and back to the Centre. There will be stamps in each to prove you've visited.

The race forms part of Chinley Fête, which is on 11am til 4pm. Do the race and stay for the festivities!

Parking in the village is extremely limited, especially on Fête day. The Community Centre is opposite the station, with direct trains from Manchester Piccadilly (arrive 11:21).
