The Brecon to Cardiff Xtreme mountain Ultra, is the extreme mountain running version of our classic Brecon to Cardiff Ultra which is now in its 10th edition.
The B2CX is a 72k, linear race over 11 major peaks between Brecon and Cardiff. It takes in some excellent mountain running in the Bannau Brychiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, followed by some faster, fun rolling hills, summits and dense forest running. This is a tough winter ultra marathon with 2650 meters of ascent and is only suitable for those with excellent winter mountain running skills and experience.
The route is linear so you will park your car at the finish in Cardiff (Nantgarw) and catch one of the busses included in your entry fee to the start of the event in Brecon.
