The full 40 mile ultra covering the off-road moorland, towpaths, fields and hills along The Burnley Way, open to Solo or Paired runners (minimum age 20 years old).
Start 8am, Finsley Gate Wharf, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 2FG
Course 39.1miles with 5751ft climb (64km, 1753m)
A written course description, marked map and GPX file of the full route is provided.
Route follows The Burnley Way so is signposted but reccies are definitely recommended.
Kit requirements (per runner): FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit (full waterproof top + bottom), hat, gloves, compass, whistle, a bit of emergency food + map (provided).
