ENTRY INFORMATION
Active Gender Entry System
When entries open, we will initially be allocating race places by gender. There will be 400 places for women and 400 places for men, as well as the option to enter as nonbinary. If a particular gender sells out, a waiting list will then be opened for that gender. The aim of this is to balance and equalise the final women/men gender split and also encourage nonbinary participation. Depending on entry numbers after a period of time has passed, we may open up any remaining places to all genders at a later date.
Refund Policy
A 14 day cooling off period will apply. Withdrawal in this period will result in a £5 administration fee.
After 14 days a 50% refund will be offered, up until 1st March 2027. After 1st March no refunds are available.
There is optional insurance available through XCover which will cover you for a range of issues to protect your entry fee, such as:
Please check their terms and conditions to see exactly what is covered.
Special Entry Fees
Vet70/Vet80 runners: Please use discount code DEVIL70 (in your seventies) or DEVIL80 (in your eighties) for an extra special discount on our standard entry fee. (Please note this code is ONLY for use by entrants who will be age 70+/80+ on race day.
Runners on low income: We don't want price to be a barrier to participation. We are happy to offer payment plans and/or a discounted entry fee. Please get in touch with us to discuss. All enquiries will be treated sensitively and without judgement.
Trans and/or nonbinary runners: We have a number of fully subsidised race places available through our partnership with LEAP Sports Scotland so please contact them directly for more information, as well as an assurance that we are 100% committed to providing a genuinely competitive opportunity for trans and/or nonbinary runners, as well a safe environment for you to participate.
PARKING / RACE WEEKEND LOGISTICS
Parking in Tyndrum (race start) is the event's biggest issue. We have to keep local businesses on side so unless you have accommodation booked in Tyndrum for the Friday/Saturday nights there are very limited parking options. There is plenty of short term parking at the race start for vehicles dropping off runners but these vehicles must leave Tyndrum immediately after the race start.
A small number of long term parking places will be available to book in early 2027/when entries are full. Entrants will be informed of this by email in advance.
We strongly urge you to use public transport to travel to the event and car share where possible.
As the race is a point-to-point route we suggest one of the following plans:
STAY IN TYNDRUM BOTH FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS - Runners with booked accommodation should park at the accommodation and can book a return bus back to Tyndrum after the event on the Saturday at 6pm (extra cost). Tyndrum has a variety of accommodation available including camping, hostels, glamping pods and hotels.
STAY IN FORT WILLIAM ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS - Book the early Saturday early morning bus from Fort William to the race start in Tyndrum (extra cost). Then run back to Fort William. The early Saturday morning buses will leave from Glen Nevis Campsite and stop at Fort William Bus Station before heading to Tyndrum, and will arrive in plenty of time for registration and race start.
ARRANGE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT START AND COLLECTED AT THE FINISH - This could be family/friend/club mate/support crew who drive you to the start in Tyndrum, maybe see you at Glencoe and Kinlochleven, then collect you from the finish in Fort William. Please note they must leave Tyndrum immediately after the race start. Another option is that the person who drops you off at the start also joins the race team and helps out while you run to Fort William.
EVENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
We are trying to reduce the environmental impact of the event. There is an opt-out system for runners to choose not to receive a t-shirt.
T-SHIRT: If you choose to not receive a t-shirt then you have the option of either donating £6 to charity or receiving a £6 reduction in the entry fee.
All proceeds will be donated to small local charity Kinlochlovin' (SC046213).
