A Challenge Walk Organised by West Midlands Fire Service Walking & Mountaineering Section, as part of Fire Service Sports & Athletics Association
Distance: 36 miles in 14 hours.
Start: 07:15
Route
Starting from stile at the base of Corndon Hill & finishing at the Old Quarry c.p, Titterstone Clee. Via the Stiperstones, Pole Bank (Long Mynd), Church Stretton, Caer Caradoc, Roman Bank, Brown Clee & the summit of Titterstone Clee, using footpaths & minor roads.
A strenuous walk with outstanding scenery
If you opt for coach travel to the start, meet at Dhustone quarry car park, Clee Hill (what 3 words forkful.decreased.arise). This is for 0630 prompt departure. If you get yourself to Corndon Hill, we'll see you at 0715 at the start point.
The entry fee includes coach transport to Corndon Hill from Titterstone Clee, simple light bites & drinks at checkpoints, badge & certificate on completion. Also, support vehicles on-route to assist retirees to finish etc.
This event is not open to runners, however please discuss this with Ed if you wish to push the boundaries.
Please note - there is no transport provided from the finish back to the start
