Start window: 5pm to 730pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Wednesday evening Sunset Spunch from The Duke of Gloucester, Beswick Drive, Crewe CW1 5NP. For runners, walkers, friends & families. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required. Locals and newcomers always welcome
A big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Run or walk. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. We can usually pair you up on the night if you prefer not to go alone. Lots of help available for newbies.
Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near the venue.
60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the evening itself).
One of our autumn Sunset Spunch Series - making the most of the midweek evening daylight before the clocks go back. Get an early start and try to beat the dark, enjoy the sun setting before you return in increasingly fading light or go completely nocturnal! (Hi vis clothing & torch necessary if you are still going to be out after 615pm at this one)

Just 10-15 mins from M6 J15 & J16. Within 30 mins of M6/M56 interchange & M6 J14 & J15. Convenient for Nantwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Northwich, Knutsford, Goostrey, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Sandbach, Alsager, Audley, Newcastle, Keele, Madeley, Stone, Loggerheads, Audlem, Whitchurch & Tarporley etc.
Catch the Spunch Train: Crewe Train Station is just a 1.5k flat walk away from the venue.
Start at your convenience anytime between 5pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90 min course is 715pm, last start for 120 min course 645pm). Registration open from 5pm.
Using a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Our first visit to this area of Crewe & the Duke of Gloucester, and it will be for a part-daylight / part-dark Spunch. All-new territory for us in and around this gently undulating area. There is a good network of paths in a real mix of woodland, light industrial areas, parkland and pleasant residential areas. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
Good running / walking on a mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road paths*. As well as exploring the local greenways and Quakers Coppice, you might also find yourself passing through local parkland, and exploring Sydney! Not a hilly one this - there will be something for everyone and even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Duke of Gloucester will provide a warm welcome post-run or walk, with both indoor and outdoor areas to relax, eat and drink in. With a great selection of food and drinks available, including some Spunch Specials - midweek offers on food & drinks. There are, of course, options for Vegetarians, Vegans and those who are GF. The venue is child & dog friendly.
