Start window: 1pm to 3pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry at the standard adult rate. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Saturday afternoon hilly Spunch in collaboration with the Pennine Fell Runners club members.
From The Lantern Pike Inn, 45 Glossop Rd, Little Hayfield SK22 2NG. Parking, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or near the venue. For runners & walkers, friends & families. Dog friendly too.
The 90 minute course option is a counter in the Pennine Fell Runners Club Championship Series 2025. As such the 90 minute course is likely to be the most keenly contested!
All three course options at the event are open to all and can be chosen on the day - 60/90/120 minutes . Being in Little Hayfield and being planned by local man Jim Trueman you can expect the courses to be both physically and mentally challenging!
As usual at Spunch events the courses will be published on the MapRun app the evening before the event giving you chance to plan your strategy!
In the event that the weather is bad on the day, then you will be required to carry full wet weather gear. This will be reviewed in the 24 hours before the event depending on the forecast.

About 20 mins from M67 J4, 30 mins from M60 J25, 40 mins from M56 J6. Very handy for Glossop, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Whaley Bridge, Buxton, Macclesfield, Poynton, Stockport, Marple, Disley & New Mills etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals always very welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 1pm & 3pm. (Last start for 120min course 230pm). Registration open from 1pm.
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A return visit to Little Hayfield and the Lantern Pike Inn - in proper Peak District hilly terrain. You can expect some significant climbs and descents on technical trails*, with some opportunities for straight line routes off-piste in open access areas (the off-piste can be tougher than going round the paths though!). There will be big views (subject to the weather), and much route choosing to be done. Even locals may discover new paths and places!
A warm welcome with great food and drink available from the Lantern Pike after your run / walk to be enjoyed in their fantastic indoor or outdoor areas. The venue is child friendly & dog friendly too.
