The Three Shires Fell Race has undergone some serious changes over the winter, and although there has been a need to change from the original route and venue, we are still taking in the three old counties over some beautiful terrain, through the Coniston and Little Langdale fells.
The race now starts in Tilberthwaite and runs in an anti-clockwise direction, and visits the following check points:
Start: Tilberthwaite Farm
CP 1 - Lingmoor
CP 2 - Pike of Blisco
CP 3 - Three Shires Stone
CP 4 - Great Carrs
CP 5 - Wetherlam
CP 6 - Tarn at GR 294 993
Finish - Tilberthwaite Farm

The new venue does allow for much easier parking and a more sociable race, as parking will now be at the start/finish field in Tilberthwaite. Please car share where possible.
This race forms part of the Lakeland Classics Trophy for 2025 Lakeland Classics Trophy – Classic Lakeland Fell Races
The route is remote and the terrain challenging, so please only enter if you have the skills necessary to complete the course.
Full FRA kit is required and a kit check for each runner will take place before registration.
GPS is not allowed for navigation at this race and the route is not flagged (barring the short stretches out to Lingmoor Fell to begin with and back from Tilberthwaite Gill to the finish.)

Race cut off: 14:15 at Three Shires Stone (Wrynose Pass)
