New Hardrock Duathlon Event for 2025
The Hardrock Duathlon is an exhilarating challenge that covers just over 26 miles in the stunning Dalbeattie Forest, located in Dumfries and Galloway, Southwest Scotland. This year, we're excited to introduce a shorter route, allowing athletes to get a taste of the challenge that the longer course offers. Join us for this thrilling experience and see what you’re capable of!
Main Event
The course includes a challenging 14.3km/8.9miles running section following walker trails and forest roads as well as a 28.6km/17.8miles mountain biking section consisting of two laps around the Barnbarroch loop, which is one of the most technical sections of the 7stanes which and probably not for the faint-hearted! The running route follows walking trails and forest roads, while the mountain biking route incorporates parts of the 7stanes red trails.
