To get a waiting list membership just join/renew as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. If the Membership Organiser is able to offer you a place they will send you an email inviting you to join/renew. Membership of Weardale Ski Club is now available for the 2024/25 season under the same terms as last season.
Weardale Ski Club is a friendly club offering skiing / snowboarding, when conditions are favourable, in the North of England on REAL SNOW. Historically this has been between 5 and 45 days in a season.
A season's pass allows you to ski any day that we are open.
We are situated 30 miles west of Durham and offer the longest lift served ski run in England. 2 permanent Doppelmayr button tows transport skiers 787m to the summit at 2150 feet (650m) where you are greeted by a vast North facing bowl offering unlimited terrain, with 6 or 7 regular routes and up to 34 routes that include several natural snow parks.
The membership limit remains at 750 and availability at each stage is determined by the number of vacancies at that point.
- ADULT £48 (Aged 18 or over on 1st September 2024)
- INTERMEDIATE £10 (Aged 10 or over on 1st September 2024)
- JUNIOR £5 (Aged under 10 on 1st September 2024)
