Some of the options for this membership are not currently available so waiting lists are being used for these options. To get a waiting list membership for one of these options just join as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. If the Membership Organiser is able to offer you a place they will send you an email inviting you to join. Newcastle AC, formed in 1981, is a Hill Running Club, Road Running Club and Track Club, but is also much more than that.
Newcastle is arguably one of the premier clubs in Northern Ireland and indeed now one of the largest.
Time and again people have said that they joined the Club because of the friendly people and their attitude to running.
Newcastle AC’s strength lies in the diversity of its members and their interests.
We now have over 100 junior club members who are showing great talent and potential for the future. See our Junior Section for more details.
Full Membership (£20/child) includes:
- Athletics NI Registration (insurance)
- Training fee to cover facilities
- Coaching in all disciplines of athletics
- Club kit available to purchase
- Saturday morning Endurance Training (For Post Primary athletes. Free of Charge)
- Championship race fees (please check with NJAC which races qualify)
- Race Fees for the annual McGrady Cross Country Series
If you would like to register your child/children for Full Membership, please contact the Junior Club Secretary via email juniors@newcastleac.org with the following details: Athletes Name, Date of Birth, Contact Number and Email Address.
