1 City = 3 Races = 1 Great Weekend of Orienteering

Join the 13th annual London City Race for a weekend of high quality orienteering across London.

  1. Morden Hall Park - Friday 2nd September - start the weekend with an early evening event just 300 metres from Morden station at the southern end of the Northern Line in a former deer park with a boardwalk, historic stables, mill and other buildings. The park is bisected by many channels of the River Wandle. Full leg cover advised as you may encounter nettles and long grass. Starts from 17:00 to 18:15 with courses closing at 19:30 - please select your start block.
  2. City of London – Saturday 3rd September – Take on the big challenge with a full distance urban event in the City of London which may include the challenge of the multi-level Barbican housing complex. Start times are from 10:00 to 13:00 for all courses except for juniors under 16 and under 12 where their start times are from 10:30 to 12:30 due to the need to operate manned road crossings - please select your start time when you enter.
  3. King's Cross Central – Sunday Morning – 4th September – Finish the weekend with a shorter urban race in this newly mapped area of London. Start times are from 10:00 to 12:00 - please select your start time block.

Classes

Classes and Course combinations for the three days are set out in the tables below. On Friday, select one of the courses depending on the distance you would like to run. On Saturday and Sunday you can run your age group,  run up one or more age classes by selecting that age class or if you would like to run a Course which is shorter than your age class, you can run "down" by selecting the "Other" class on the Course you wish to run down on. Prizes will be available for Saturday's race but only if you run your age class or run up one or more age classes.

There will be fewer courses (classes may share courses) and the way classes share courses will vary over the 3 days - see the tables below.

Results will not be cumulative.
