However as per the terms and conditions you signed: "I understand and accept that NO REFUNDS will be payable for any reason what-so-ever. However, transfers of places are possible and I agree that if I am transferring my place this can only to be done through SiEntries so that the event organisers have the full details of the new runner taking my place."

Unfortunately events like this would just not be possible and incredibly hard to plan for if we accepted refunds to be provided.
