Skye Trail Ultra

I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them:

I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards.  I am aware that the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, landowners, meeting sponsor(s) or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.

I will carry the mandatory equipment listed here:

• Water proof jacket with taped seams {must have attached hood}
• Over trousers
• Hat and gloves
• Spare clothing, not to be worn at the start and consisting of 1 long sleeved top and 1 short sleeved top and beanie type hat
• Emergency clothing, only to be used if immobile by illness or injury. Consisting of 1 long sleeved top and full length bottoms
• Plastic survival bag {not a space blanket!} Must be approved by race director
• Head torch
• Harvey's [paper] Skye Trail Map & compass
• Whistle
• Emergency food
• Fully charged mobile phone {pre-prescribed to 999 text service}. Must have fully charged spare battery or powerpack
• Cohesive bandage
• kit checks will be carried out at the start and at the cp's ..... if you are not carrying all of the mandatory kit, you will be disqualified, likewise if you are wearing your emergency clothing you will be disqualified.
