I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them:

I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk, that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards and that I must ride in a manner which is safe for myself and all others. I am aware that when riding in an event and particularly when riding on a public highway the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, meeting sponsor(s) or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.

I consent to publication of my name, club, race category, race number, finishing time and race position in race pre-entry and results lists.



  • Cycling Scotland is the Event Sponsor and the event organiser is Highland Perthshire Cycling

  • Participants agree that their personal information will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering the Event and in connection with any advertising mentioned in these terms and conditions. Such information will not be used for any other purpose other than as stated in these terms and conditions or as separately accepted by participants. If participants have separately agreed to receive communications from the Organiser or any charity associated with the Event then their personal data may be used for such purposes, including direct marketing. The Organiser shall at all times comply with applicable General Data Protection Regulation currently in force in the UK.

  • Participants agree that any photographs and videos of participants captured during the event become the sole property of Cycling Scotland, with permission granted to the Organiser to use for a period of up to five years following the date of the event. Participants acknowledge that photographs and videos may be edited, disseminated, adapted, modified, copied and used in whole or in part in all media and formats for any legitimate purpose, including but not limited to promoting, advertising and marketing Pedal for Scotland events held by Cycling Scotland and Event Organisers, without prior notice or compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, social media, website content, email marketing, leaflets, posters and banners. Participants should contact Cycling Scotland at info@pedal.scot and the Event Organiser at kat@highlandperthshirecycling.com if they do not wish their images used in marketing materials.

  • Specifically, participant data may be used for any of the following purposes:

    • Contact details will be used by the Organiser to provide the participant with Event information by email.

    • Medical information, to be recorded by the participant on their rider bib, may be shared with medical personnel during the event if required.

    • The participant acknowledges that the Organiser may contact them to invite registration for any future Organiser events, should they have agreed to future communications.

    • We will ask you to complete an optional survey that helps us to improve our events in future. We may also ask you to take part in a case study.

  • The participant agrees to inform the Organiser of any changes to the information supplied in their original online registration in order that they can be contacted for the reasons outlined above. The participant should amend his/her contact details through the online entry system as soon as changes are known

  • Each participant is entitled to withdraw his/her consent to email and/or SMS communications from the Organiser and can do so at any time by writing to kat@highlandperthshirecycling.com or unsubscribing from the database

  • Participants are entitled to delete all information from the Organiser’s database by writing to the same addresses.
