I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards.
I am aware that this hill race route is not marked. I declare that I am able to navigate by map and compass, and that I will check the race route on a map before the race. I confirm that I can run on rough ground and I am self-sufficient and can look after myself.
There will be very few marshalls on the course. I am aware that the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, meeting sponsor(s) or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.
I am aware that if I cycle to the start I do so at my own risk. Cycling on busy roads around Edinburgh is dangerous. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, meeting sponsor(s) or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.
A suggested cycling route to the race start is along the off-road cycleway from Colinton to Balerno. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards.
