These terms and conditions detailed below apply to all entrants participating in any event series organised and run by Limitless Trails.  Ticking the box, or purchase of any entry by event participants acknowledges the acceptance of these terms and conditions by the participant.

All participants are fully responsible for their actions whilst attending any LIMITLESS TRAILS event. This includes the event HQ and the event course itself. Limitless Trails does not accept responsibility for the actions of the participant, nor the consequences of such actions.

Each participant upon signing the registration form agrees that they are physically and mentally capable of completing the race route they have signed up to do. By signing the on line waiver on line registration or on event day they agree to fully understanding and agreeing to all our T&Cs as LIMITLESS TRAILS - If during the event they decide to change their route, they do so at their own risk and must inform a member of the LIMITLESS TRAILS team upon their return. LIMITLESS TRAILS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE PARTICIPANT BEFORE DURING AND POST EVENT.

The event registration form must be completed by a person aged 18 or over. Evidence of age may be requested. Participants under the age of 18 will be allowed to participate in the event with the consent of a parent or guardian who must sign the event registration form on behalf of the underage participant. Signing is also acceptance for the actions and consequences of the underage participant. Anyone aged 16 or under needs to be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them with a supporting liability letter if requested.

The participant confirms that the kit they have chosen to wear during the event is suitable and worthy to complete the longest route irrelevant if this is the chosen route or not. Events that demand FULL MANDATORY KIT TO BE CARRIED will be the responsibility of the participant -failing to do so on inspection will lead to instant disqualification – DNF against the name.

During the events there will be warning signs at appropriate times throughout the route. Absence of these signs does not signal there are no dangers approaching and it’s the decision of the participant to decide whether to continue on a section or not.

Due to the nature of the events, some of the terrain will be uneven or slippery. It is down to the participant to decide whether they will proceed on that section or to opt out of the event or to make their own judgement.

Any marked route is shown for guidance only – it is the responsibility of the participant to be confident and efficient in basic map reading. Each participant must carry a map of the event route, any participant found without such maps or GPX file will be disqualified and DNF attached to the name. Therefore, if the participant chooses to proceed on a section that isn’t marked to avoid any obstacle or sections they believe are beyond their capabilities, they do so entirely at their own risk.

LIMITLESS TRAILS reserve the right to shorten or adjust the published route at any time. Participants do not have the right to claim a refund if the route has been shortened or lengthened.

Participants must be considerate to other users of bridleways, footpaths or byways. Upon seeing other users, such as walkers or horse riders, participants are required to pass with care. Where appropriate participants should stop and wait at the side of the track to allow other users to pass safely.

Each participant if fully responsible for any fees or cost incurred arising from an accident. This involves, but is not exclusive to police, air ambulance, fire and rescue and the ambulance service. If it arises that the participant is not able to make the decision to call the emergency services, they agree that a member of the LIMITLESS TRAILS team or a member of the public may call for them. In this incidence the participant still accepts the cost incurred and consequences of such actions.

Each participant agrees to assign and grant the right and give permission for LIMITLESS TRAILS to use and publish any photographs, films or video on any LIMITLESS TRAILS activity. The participant hereby releases LIMITLESS TRAILS from any and all liability from such use and promotion. The participant hereby authorises the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage and distribution of said photograph or video without limitation at the discretion of LIMITLESS TRAILS. The participant specifically waives any right to compensation they may have for appearing in any of the photographs or videos at a LIMITLESS TRAILS event.

If the participant is unable to complete an event they agree to call or return to the event HQ and report to a member of the LIMITLESS TRAILS team.

If you cannot make a race, we’re more than happy to transfer you to another event of equal, or less value of your choice. The race that your transferring into however needs to have the capacity to do so. We also cannot transfer you out of a race if it is full (Sold Out), unless we have at least 7 days prior notice to the event. This is because in some circumstances we have a reserve list that we fill drop in if a participant cancels. After we pass this time - we can no longer replace your entry.

Entry fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Limitless Trails reserves the right to cancel any event due to extreme weather conditions. Force Majeure. In such an event, each participant’s entry will be transferred to a rescheduled date. If a participant cannot make the new date, they can carry entry to another event within the same series. No refunds will be issued. 

GENERAL

To the fullest extent permissible in law, the Promoter shall be entitled to assign all and any of its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions, provided that Your rights are not adversely affected. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed or amended in such a manner as to render the rest of the provision(s) and remainder of these Terms and Conditions valid or enforceable. If the Promoter delays or fails to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions it shall not mean that the Promoter has waived its right to do so. Any person, other than the Promoter, who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions and no action taken by You or the Promoter under these Terms and Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other fiduciary relationship between You and the Promoter. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in connection with the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between You and the Promoter relating to the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall purport to exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, Wales and Scotland & Spain

I understand that Limitless Trails (The Event) is an extreme sporting event. Participation is voluntary and entirely at my own risk and that participating in the event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and agree to the terms below.                 

1. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am travelling to or from the event, during the event (out on the course), or while I am on the premises of the event. 

2. I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. 

3. Barring its legal liability, Limitless Trails (The Organisers) shall not be responsible or financially liable for any accidents and/or illness suffered by the participant, for loss of property, any damages to equipment or cars parked on site, for any other damages allegedly suffered by the participant or caused by the General Public. 

4. Should a runner’s action out on course cause an incident resulting in damage to other road user’s property, the participant will take responsibility and will assume financial liability. 

5. I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the Organisers, other participants, supporters, the general public or myself. 

6. Participants must follow instructions as given from all event officials, including instructions at race briefing, from any of race staff, volunteers, medical personnel, security officers and other officials throughout the duration of the Event.
   1. We do not recommend the use of personal music devices (such as MP3 players) on the course as you need to be aware of and be able to hear other runners, other public road users (such as cars and bicycles) and to hear marshal’s instructions. If you do wear headphones then it’s at your own risk.
   2. Participants are responsible for their awareness, recognition and understanding of event signage, symbols and colours relating to participant maps, facilities and direction. 

7. I grant my permission to all of the foregoing persons and entities to use or authorize others to use photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in the Events for any legitimate purpose without remuneration. 

8. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organisers, the owners of the venue their sponsors, their sponsors or promoters, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event (Race Directors & Marshals), for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event. 

I hereby agree to all the terms and conditions, and willingly wish to participate in this event. Ticking the box forms my approval.
