Loch Ken Wild Swim

I, the undersigned participant, hereby certify that I am physically fit and have not been otherwise informed by a physician. I acknowledge that I am aware of all the risks inherent in wild swimming, including possible disability or death, and agree to assume all those risks.

Accidents can happen without any contributory negligence from the centre or its staff. The centre can accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property or for personal injury not arising as a result of its own act or default.  In addition, I specifically acknowledge that I am aware of the extra risks inherent in open water swimming.

I further attest and certify that I have read and understood the above waiver and assumption of risk, that I am making this waiver and assuming all such risks voluntarily, and that all information and the signatures contained herein are accurate and genuine.

IF YOU ARE UNDER 15 YEARS OF AGE you must have the express permission of both your parents or your legally guardian to participate in this event.

Please note that there is a Refund Protect option available to you at the time of booking. We would recommend reading the wording of their policy very carefully and making sure you are happy with the terms before choosing this option. If you do not choose Refund Protect then the Galloway Activity Centre is not able to offer refunds if the event has to be cancelled but may offer to transfer your booking to a future event. In the event of cancellation by you, if you cancel more than two weeks prior to the event then we offer to either donate your total booking cost to charity or we can give a 50% refund. No refunds are offered for cancellations within two weeks of the event's start date.
