TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DINGLE ADVENTURE RACE (DAR)

Cancellation Policy

• If you cancel, no refund will be given. Entry Fees are non-refundable. You can do a course swap or a name  change to your entry (substitutions allowed).

COVID-19

• If COVID-19 restrictions do not allow the race to go ahead then your entry will be automatically moved to the next DAR date. If the next DAR date does not suit you, you can request a 85% refund. 15% charge is requires to cover credit card fees, online entries and admin fee. 

Overseas competitors

• If overseas competitor are not allowed to travel to Ireland then can request a 85% refund. 15% charge is requires to cover credit card fees, online entries and admin fee.

Competitors

• All competitors must be over the age of 18.
• All competitors are aware that the Dingle Adventure Race is a demanding multisport course; which includes road cycling, mountain running/walking, road run and kayaking. Competitors should have a minimum level of good fitness if taking part. All competitors should hydrate, rest and eat well day before and on the morning of Race and should avoid alcohol the night before the race.
• All competitors are aware that Adventure Racing can be hazardous and have risks involved that could result in injury or death. By clicking to terms and condition you waive all rights for claims or damages against Dingle Adventures Race organizers or any of its safety teams contracted for DAR. Organizers and its team will do all it can to supervise the course where your safety is a concern.
• All competitors are advised to take out their own insurance when competing in Adventure races
• No competitor must throw away any Litter on DAR course, expect at Transition areas and water stops where bin bags are provided
• All competitors must bring the mandatory equipment listed for this event
• DAR organizers and their team will be taking photos and videos during the race, all competitors are aware and agree that these images may be used on our social media pages, website, newspapers and promotion of future events.
• All competitors are responsible for collecting their Bikes at Bike transition at the end of the race, all bikes must be collected by 4 pm.
• All competitors to leave your timing chip at the finish, if you lose timing device during the course you can not be listed in the top 10 finishers of your category and must pay for loss of the device.
• DAR courses may be changed if extreme weather conditions occur.
