Key safety acknowledgements

• I confirm I understand that trail running involves inherent risks including uneven, slippery, or changeable terrain, and I accept these risks by taking part
• I understand that the course may include public rights of way and shared paths, and I will show consideration to other path users
• I confirm I am responsible for my own safety during the event

Participant declaration and waiver

• I confirm I am physically fit and sufficiently prepared to take part in this event
• I accept responsibility for my participation in the event and understand I take part at my own risk
• I agree to follow all instructions given by the race organiser and marshals
• I consent to receive appropriate medical treatment in the event of illness or injury during the event if required
• I understand the organiser will not be liable for loss, damage, or injury except where required by law

Event specific acknowledgements

• I understand the event has a final cut off time of 3 hours and I must finish by 13:00
• I understand the course is on mixed terrain and will be clearly marked but not closed to the public
• I understand that I may be required to carry mandatory kit if specified in the final race instructions

Permissions and admin

• I agree to my personal data being used for the purposes of event administration and communication in line with GDPR requirements
• I understand and agree to the event refund and transfer policy
• I consent to photographs and video taken during the event being used for promotional purposes unless I notify the organiser otherwise

Terms & Conditions

Entries and Transfers
All entries are non-refundable.

If you are unable to take part, you may transfer your entry to another runner. All transfers must be completed through the official entry system before the advertised transfer deadline. The original entrant is responsible for arranging the transfer and ensuring the new participant completes registration and accepts the event terms and conditions. Unauthorised transfers are not permitted.

No transfers will be allowed after the stated deadline and no deferrals to future events will be offered.

Event Changes or Cancellation
The organiser reserves the right to alter the route, distance, start time, or format of the event if required for safety or operational reasons. This may include changes due to weather, ground conditions, or access restrictions.

In the event of cancellation, postponement, or changes due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including but not limited to weather or safety concerns, refunds will not be issued.

Participation and Responsibility
Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. All runners must be adequately prepared for the distance and conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. Any mandatory kit requirements must be followed if specified in pre race communications.

Safety and Withdrawal
The organiser reserves the right to withdraw any participant from the event if they fail to meet cut off times, appear unable to continue safely, or do not follow instructions from organisers or marshals.

Route and Navigation
The course will be clearly marked, however participants are responsible for following the correct route. A GPX file will be provided for reference.

Public Access and Conduct
The route uses public rights of way and will remain open to other users. Participants must show consideration to others, follow the Countryside Code, and must not litter.

Results
The organiser will take reasonable steps to provide accurate results but cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.

Liability
The organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained as a result of participation, except where required by law.

Data Protection and Media
Personal data will be used for the administration of the event. Photographs and video may be taken and used for promotional purposes.
