Talan’s Notorious Trail 24/12/6 hour

I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them.

I declare that the information on this form is complete and correct. I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk and that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards. I am aware that the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, meeting sponsor(s) or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however caused.

1. Competitors must read carefully all information provided on the Talan's Notorious Trail website (buderats.co.uk/talansnotorioustrail) and act accordingly.

2. Competitors should not take part in the event if they are knowingly under‑prepared, have a medical illness, or any other condition which may compromise their own safety or the safety of others.

3. All details provided by competitors at the time of entry must be accurate. Any changes to personal or medical details must be updated by logging into the competitor's SiEntries account, or by contacting the organising team directly.

4. Competitors must comply with the Race Rules, Event Information, the race brief, and any other instructions or information issued by the organisers, published or communicated from time to time. The Race Director's decision on any matter relating to the event is final.

5. Entries cannot be transferred, deferred or cancelled. Refund protection (XCover) is available to purchase at the time of entry.

6. If the organisers are forced to cancel or postpone the event for any reason, all entries will be carried forward to the following year's event, or to another event organised by us within the next 12 months. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.

7. The organisers reserve the right to refuse, cancel or withdraw any entry if required to protect the safety of competitors or the good standing of the event.

8. The course is not marshalled for the majority of the event. This is a self‑navigated race, and competitors are responsible for knowing and following the route, so please familiarise yourself with it before race day. Where marshals are present, their function is to indicate direction only, and competitors must use their own judgement to decide whether it is safe to proceed. The Cub Fun Run will be marshalled throughout.

9. Competitors must act at all times in a way that minimises impact on the route, the local environment, and those who live and work in the area.

10. Any competitor who does not act in accordance with clause 9, or with the Race Rules, either before or during the event, may be disqualified by the Race Director. Their entry fee will not be refunded.

11. I consent to the publication of my name, club, race category, race number, finishing time and race position in pre‑entry lists and results.

12. I consent to photographs and video taken of me during the event being used by the organisers for promotional and marketing purposes, including on the website, social media and future publicity for the event.
