Event Disclaimer / Terms and ConditionsT's & C's

By entering this event, all participants acknowledge that trail, road, mixed terrain and ultra distance running involves inherent risks including but not limited to injury, illness, collision, fatigue, poor weather, darkness, uneven ground, slips, trips, nav error and in rare cases serious harm.

Endurance events test mental and physical limits.

Participants thus enter entirely at their own risk and accept responsibility for their own health, fitness, preparation, pacing, hydration, nutrition, clothing, equipment and decision making throughout the event.

This is an inaugural event delivered in good faith by experienced organisers with backgrounds in trail and ultra running, fitness, military, DoE, Scouts and Cadet Leadership and Outdoor Leadership. While the organisers will provide event infrastructure such as route information, GPX/Maps, Live Tracking, Aid Stations, First Aid Support, Marshalls/Checkpoints, Race Bibs, Bag Drop and Finish Support – no event can remove all risk and each participant must take personal responsibility for taking part safely.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers, volunteers, partners and landowners, accept no liability for loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or illness arising from participation, travel to or from the event, or use of event facilities except where caused by negligence that cannot legally be excluded.

Participants must meet the minimum age requirements stated for their race category at the time of entry.

Participants must only enter a distance that they will be appropriately trained and prepared to complete.

Participants will be asked to provide emergency contact details and any relevant medical information before the event.

Participants confirm the information they provide is accurate and agree to follow briefing instructions at all times.

Relay teams are responsible for ensuring all team members understand the route, rules and handover arrangements.

By entering, participants confirm they are medically fit to take part and have no condition that makes participation unsafe.

Any participant with a medical condition, injury, recent illness, or concern about fitness to take part should seek medical advice before entering and before race day.

Organisers reserve the right to refuse a start, remove a participant from the course, or prevent continuation where there are reasonable concerns about health, safety, capability, cut off, weather, equipment, or welfare.

The course is advertised as flat, fast and mixed terrain but surfaces, weather, and conditions may vary.

Distances are subject to vary slightly from as advertised due to route permissions, safety changes, diversions, or operational requirements. The organisers thus reserve the right to reasonably amend the route logistics for safety, legal, environmental or operational reasons.

Optional extras/enhancements including coach transfers and merch remain subject to entry demand/ confirmation.

The published cut offs are part of the event critical safety plans and final on race day.

Participants who withdraw must report to an official event representative as soon as possible.

Where transport is provided for withdrawals, this may involve waiting until a vehicle is available or via aid stations/ other stops.

Where a participant withdraws, their bag drop may only be available for collection at the finish.

Participants are responsible for wearing and returning their tracker. There will be a cost for any damaged, lost or non returned trackers.

Participants must behave considerately towards other runners, volunteers, staff, landowners, members of the public and local communities.

Littering, abusive behaviour, cheating, unauthorised support, dangerous conduct, refusal to follow instructions or actions that bring the race into disrepute may result in time penalties, disqualification or removal from the event.

Participants must not assume they have priority over other road, path and trail users unless specifically directed by an authorised marshal.

Headphones may be restricted in certain sections for safety reasons. Any event briefing on this must be followed.

Event photography may be taken during the event and used on social media. By entering, you consent to the reasonable use of your name, image, and result in event coverage and promotion unless you notify the organisers in advance.

Race deferrals, transfers and distance changes are subject to deadlines and admin fees.

If the event is cancelled, postponed, shortened or materially changed due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, every effort will be made to communicate options as transparently and early as possible and to offer full refunds, but full refunds are not guaranteed.
