- This is a self-supported event and participants take part solely at their own risk.
- The organisers accept no responsibility for injury, illness, death or damage to equipment. The organiser is not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate in the event.
- This is a fully self-supported event. This means that you are confirming you have the right skills and competencies to undertake the activities under your own esteem. i.e. you will be able to deal effectively with bike mechanical failure, illness, injury or getting lost!
- You understand that some parts of the route are on-road and you must be prepared and experienced for encountering other road users.
- You understand that on some parts of the route you may encounter other cyclists, walkers, dog walkers, motorists and other members of the public and you must be prepared and experienced enough to do so safely.
- You understand that there are no marshals and limited signage, and you are required to self-navigate your chosen route using the GPX file provided (or use QR code available).
- You understand that some paper maps of the route will be available at the start, but these shouldn’t be relied upon for navigation.
- You can retire from the event at any time. If you retire it is your responsibility to get yourself back to your vehicle or hub. You understand that there are no marshals or sweeper vehicles.
- Please be aware it is tick season. Ensure you familiarise yourself with how to deal with ticks in case you are affected.
