Cycling Ireland Safety Statement:
I understand and agree that I participate in this event entirely at my own risk, that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards and that I must ride in a manner which is safe for myself and all others. I am aware that when riding on a public highway the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide whether the movement is safe. I agree that no liability what so ever shall attach to the Promoter, Promoting Club, Race Sponsor, Cycling Ireland, any Sub-Committee of Cycling Ireland, any Race Official or any Member of the Promoting Club in respect of injury, loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event, however caused. Please note: It is a requirement of entering the event to provide In Case of Emergency No. (ICE). The ICE contact may be your club secretary. In the case of Youth riders it will normally be the person who accompanied the rider to the event. Such information will be retained in the strictest confidence and not be divulged to anybody other than the Club Secretary of the Event.
I also agree to the following:
In accordance with the Cycling Ireland Off-Road Commission, 2024, ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR FULL FACE HELMETS AT ALL TIMES AT ALL ENDURO RACES.
These helmets can either be the integral full face type, or those with a removable chin guard. The chin guards may be removed during transitions, but every rider must wear a helmet, properly secured on their heads, whenever they are cycling on their bike.
All JUNIOR riders (Under 18) must wear mountain biking spinal protection, and agree to a visual inspection of back protector at registration.
