I am aware that the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide if the movement is safe.
I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to the promoter, promoting club, meeting sponsor(s), or member of the promoting club in respect of any injury, loss, or damage suffered by me on or by reason of the event, however, caused.
All participants need to have a level of fitness appropriate to this distance and it is the participant's responsibility to undertake the necessary training to achieve this event.
I accept it is my decision to partake in this event and I understand and agree that I participate in this event at my own risk.
I consent to the publication of my name, club, race category, race number, finishing time, and race position in race pre-entry and results lists.
I consent to the publication of photos of myself at this event which can be used on all social media platforms for the promotion of further events that are promoted by the organizers of this event.
Race Rules

Drop Bags.
Drop bags must be handed in at the start and tagged with your number for transportation to your chosen aid station. More than one drop bag can be used but needs to be marked clearly with the aid station number. One bag per aid station only. We cannot transport bags from station to station. Drop bags will be only given to the correct participant. This is indicated by your race number. All bags are left at the owner's risk and we accept no liability for loss or damage to your belongings.
The mandatory kit is for your safety: Failing to have any of the mandatory kit could lead to you being refused to start.
All competitors agree to download what3words app.
All competitors agree to store the race director's phone number and first aider's number in their phone.
All competitors must compete individually on foot.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Cut-off times:
All participants must leave Thorpe Woodland aid station by 12:30 and be finished by 19:00
On race day all participants will be fully briefed on the measures in place. Emphasis will be placed on the decision of the marshals or sweeper on a participant's fitness to carry on and must be respected and complied with.
All entrants are issued with a race number & this number is recorded at every checkpoint. If a participant must retire, they are required to do so at a manned checkpoint and the information is passed to race HQ. The retiree is then transported by a marshal to the finish.
Race Numbers
A race number is specific to the participant's name who entered the event and is not transferable. It must not be cut, folded, manipulated, or mutilated in any way and must be fastened securely to the front of your vest or top. Please fill in the personal information required on the reverse side including relevant medical information and Emergency contact details.
Littering is strictly forbidden.
Following these rules is a condition of taking part in the race.
Refunds
Sorry, we cannot offer refunds after 14 days from your entry date, however, if you are unable to take part, up until 6 weeks before the day of the race we can defer your entry to the following year.
Postponement – should it be necessary to postpone the race due to no fault of Col Runs Wild4 Adventure, we will reschedule the event to another date in the current year or in the following year. Participants will be given the option to transfer to the rescheduled event or to be given a voucher code of an equivalent value for a future event.
