I accept the following terms for my own entry. I also accept the terms on behalf of any other participants I am entering in this event, all of whom have been provided with a copy of these terms and accept them.

  • This is an outdoor challenge event. Participants will be expected to be self-sufficient on the course and should carry sufficient food, drinks and clothing appropriate to the conditions.
  • I agree to abide by the rules of the event and to observe the Country Code at all times.
  • I agree to carry a tracker for the duration of the event and this will be supplied by the event organisers.
  • I have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in a long distance walk in all conditions.
  • I confirm that I am in good health and have no medical condition that may cause undue concern or inconvenience to others.
  • I confirm that I participate at my own risk and that no liability is accepted by the organisers for injury, damage or loss sustained by me before, during or after the event.
  • I understand that particular rules may apply to entrants taking part in this event and I undertake to make myself aware of these rules before I start.
  • No dogs allowed on event.
  • I understand that the personal information submitted on this entry form will be held by the event organisers for up to three years after the event is held for the purposes of managing this event only.
  • I accept that photographs are likely to be taken at the event, which may be featured in Strider magazine, group newsletters, on LDWA websites and on LDWA social media.
  • In addition, I understand that my name, age band, sex, distance covered and time recorded may be published immediately and may be held in perpetuity for the purposes of providing a record of the event.
  • I will have the right to request that all my personal Summary Information be anonymised but not removed.
