• Have read and understood the APEX Running general Event Rules, as well as any event-specific rules, as detailed in the ‘Event Rules’ section of the event webpage.
• Have read all race literature, as displayed on the website, or through links provided on the website and shall read the pre-event handbook in full, once released.
• Have read and understand the 'What's Involved?' and 'Required Experience' sections of the event webpage and am confident I will satisfy the 'Minimum Recommended Experience' guidelines for this event, if applicable. I have experience of running in a similar mountain environment to that featured on this event course and am confident in my ability to safely complete the event, without posing any unnecessary risk to the organisers. 
• Understand the risks involved with participating in this event, understand the risks and symptoms of hypothermia and understand and accept that there is a risk of serious injury or death once I start.
• Have familiarised myself with the route, checkpoint locations and cut-off times and accept that the Race Director or any Senior Event Team member will remove me from the race, should I fail to leave any checkpoint after its cut-off time, or should carrying be seen to pose any threat to my own physical wellbeing.
• Shall be physically prepared for this competition, in good health, not suffering from any injury or physical defect likely to be aggravated by my participation in the event. During the race, should I suffer from any injury, or any other incident that could seriously damage my health, I will inform an Event Team member and/or paramedic(s) as soon as possible.
• Have submitted accurate and up-to-date details in the ‘Medical Details’ section of my entry. Should anything change between entering and the race itself, I shall inform the event organiser.
• Can diligently concentrate and follow waymarking, self-navigate using map, compass and if of use, electronic GPS devices. I can exercise sound mountain judgement at all times and manage my nutrition and hydration to ensure that my ability to make the correct judgement and progress in adverse situations shall not be impaired, even if this means compromising my overall race result.
• Shall help my fellow competitors should they find themselves in distress. I know how to be aware of others while crossing technical mountain terrain and can take care of my footfall to minimise the hazard of rockfall, slips and trips, etc.
• Accept full responsibility for my own safety and any injury sustained during the event. These are not the responsibility of the event organiser, collaborator, sponsor, or the landowner(s). Therefore, I release the organisation, landowners, collaborators, sponsors, or any other participant of any responsibility for any material or physical damage to either myself, or any of my belongings. 
• Understand that the race organiser reserves the right to modify, at any time, the course or checkpoint locations listed. In the case of extreme adverse weather conditions, race management reserve the right to abandon the event at any time, in which case no entry refund shall be given. In this case, the event organiser shall not be liable for any costs that may be incurred relating to the event, including (but not limited to) travel, accommodation, and/or any other costs.
• Authorise the race organisation to use any photo, film or recording taken provided it is exclusively related to my participation in this event and future events hosted by APEX Running. 
• Will be included in the event organisers email list, to receive news and information relevant to this and other events hosted by APEX Running. I understand that I can unsubscribe at any time.
• Agree that the Race Director’s decision is final in all disputes that may occur prior to, during, and after the event. No challenges will be permitted.
