Peak Raid MapRun Winter Series – Update on Restart
We are very pleased to announce that following the governments’ recent lockdown easing statement and in line with the published key dates, we will be relaunching the Winter MapRun Series from Monday 29th March.
We had initially planned that this series would take place from November through until the end of February. However, this was not to be and we have now rescheduled the release dates for the four courses. Event 1 Monsal Head and Event 2 Harthill Moor and Bradford Dale will be available to download from Monday 29th March. Event 3 Lantern Pike and Coombes Edge will go live on Monday 26th April and Event 4 Chrome Hill and Dove Head from Monday 24th May. Please remember that the events can be completed at any-time, in any order and as many times as you choose. The final date for taking part in a competitive run to be included in the overall series results is Wednesday 30th June.
There are four events in the series, all visiting less well-known parts of the Peak District. Each course has been planned to offer great running, challenging navigation and stunning scenery over peakland hills and dales. All use specially produced 1:25 000 maps.
The events will go live and be available to download from within the MapRun app as follows:
Event 1 Monsal Head – live and available to download from Monday 29th March
