Come and learn the skills and techniques for Off Road Running, including Trail, Mountain and Fell Running with our expert instructors and running coaches.
Our whole team spend hours and hours absorbed by running in the fells of the Lake District. Whether you run low level or high level, you'll come across technical trails and the skills, ability and understanding of how to cross these sections of your run efficiently and safely, will mean you can spend more time enjoying the views, and your running, rather than concentrating on how and where to place your feet.
What to Expect:
Who is it for?
** If you can run 5km then you will be fine with this course. We won't cover more than 5km running.**
Course Program:
08:30 - Meet at the door to our office
08:40 - Intro and explanation about the course
08:50 - Head to Jenkins Field for some light running and drills
09:30 - Head out on a short trail run, where will will stop on route to cover drills on Uphill Techniques, Downhill Techniques, Efficiency over technical trails and terrain and more.
11:00 - Arrive back in Glenridding for a warm down, easy chat about the skills and some slack-lining if we have time.
11:30 - Course closes
