The Singlespeed UK Championships is heading to the South West for September 2024. Camping and racing will be based on a beautiful private estate on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset.

The Nine Edges Endurance challenge raises money for Edale Mountain Rescue Team. It is a 20 mile traverse from Fairholmes Upper Derwent to the Robin Hood Inn near Birchen Edge over rough moorland and 9 gritstone edges, some navigation skill is required.
SILVA Bronze 2 Day Basic Navigation Certificate - Coniston, Lake District
A unique event where teams of four runners contest a relay over two road legs of 3 miles and two fell legs of 2.5 miles. Originally designed to bring road and fell runners together in an event where they could appreciate each others skills!

The Mountain Trial is a severe test of fellrunners' mountaineering ability, stamina and the safe and fast traverse of difficult and often dangerous terrain where navigational skills and route choice are as important as speed.
26, 18, or 12 miles from the beautiful Wistanstow Village Hall the route makes its way west to Clun, 12 miles, before heading north to Bishop's Castle, 18 miles, and then east on the homeward journey back to Wistanstow.
This half marathon course is mostly on road with the occasional off road section. It takes in a loop of Truro city centre, and runs out to Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands. Involves a few hills!

Tayside Orienteering Club invite you to a local event in Camperdown Country Park, Dundee. The park is a mixture of grassland with scattered trees, woodland areas and an old golf course, with a network of gravel and grass paths.
In simple turns run in circles for your chosen time period. The course is 4.2 miles long so that runners wanting to replicate a Backyard format can do so. Both events will start at 10am and it's up to you how slow or fast you run.
Competitors must complete the 4.1-mile loop on the hour every hour until only one runner remains. The DNF bell will be sounded exactly on the hour - there will be only one athlete who does not receive a DNF and they will be crowned the champ!
The Hardmoors 60 route follows the Cleveland Way from Guisborough to Filey passing through coastal resorts and fishing villages of Saltburn, Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar, Scarborough and Filey while following cliff tops for the main duration.

Celebrating North East Engineering history, the Locomotion Charity Run has a choice of 2 routes (10 miles or 5 miles) along the original railway route of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. Proceeds to the Great North Air Ambulance.

The ‘Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay’ is a fell running relay race. It is set in the heart of the Lake District Fells over four legs and is the longest-running mountain relay in the country.
The Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge Junior event is a running/mountain biking Duathlon in Dalbeattie Forest for 8-15 year olds. Competitors can enter individually and do both the run and the bike or in a team of one runner and one biker.
The Lakeland Four Passes is a challenging route of 18(ish) miles taking in 4 of the Lake District's most scenic valleys & their adjoining passes. The route now starts & finishes at Gatesgarth Farm, at the SE end of Buttermere.
The Lakelander Gravel Grinder is Ireland’s premier gravel cycling challenge. Expect wilderness, remoteness and spectacular views across this virtually unexplored part of Ireland. Distance options – Big Dog 100km, The 60km Mongrel or the Little Dog 50km.
Fermanagh Orienteers welcomes you to the 2024 Northern Ireland Orienteering Championships (incorporating the VHI Individual event). This event will take place on the newly mapped Gortin Glen Forest Park.

The fourth round on 5 - 6 October takes our enduro series to Yair forest for the first time. TweedLove hosted the first ever Vallelujah here in 2015 - no-one who rode it will forget it!
The event is at Dean Castle Country Park. A mixture of parkland and woodland with some steep slopes. There is an adjoining housing scheme with a detailed network of paths and alleyways.
The Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge is a Duathlon which takes place entirely in Dalbeattie Forest. The event is a challenging 10 mile run on rough forest roads & a 16 mile MTB section which follows the 7stanes Red Grade Hardrock Trail. Now in it's 20th year
The Dovedale Dash is a cross country race of 4 3/4 mile. The course is mainly along field paths and open ground in the valleys of the river Dove and Manifold. One of the excitements is the crossing of the rivers Dove at the well known Stepping Stones.
MTB enduro, 4 timed stages mash-up style. Hand built by riders for riders of all skill levels.

The Hardmoors 26.2 is a series of 6 challenging Trail Marathons based in various beautiful locations in the North York Moors and on the Cleveland Heritage Coastline. Saltburn races are the first in the series, taking place in February.
The Anglezarke Amble is a Challenge Walk taking in Rivington, Anglezarke and Turton Moors, through an area known locally as “Little Lake District”. There is a choice of distances for walkers, either 17 or 24 miles. Runners can only do the long route.
LAW75 takes a stunning route from Skipton to Appleby. The route is primarily based on Lady Anne's Way with minor sections on The Dales Way and Pennine Journey.
A scenic race around Harrogate and Knaresborough. This route that is particularly suitable for first timers at all distances encircling the spa town of Harrogate at a radius of 3-4 miles, mostly on attractive country paths and passing through Nidd Gorge.
The Silverdale Circuit is an undulating but runnable 19 mile route with an ascent of Arnside Knott and Fairy Steps in the second half. It's packed full of stunning views and interesting features.
