With full racing unable to return to Forestry England locations due to continuing coronavirus restrictions, we are delighted to be hosting a series of virtual races in two of their forests in the North East of England
The Challenge is set for the UK and Worlds first Ultra Marathon solely for dogs and their Human passengers. Run / Trek 45 miles on a loop of some awesome trails that South Wales has to offer.
Aimed at a gentle farewell to 2020 and we think that we all are ready to wave it goodbye. The Tinsel Twelve and The Half Marathon de Mulled Wine are both strenuous but beautiful events that will not be any less rewarding by the distances. Go for it !
The Middle Fell race is a traditional fell race. 10.88 kilometres with 529 meters of accent. The route goes from The Strands Inn in Nether Wasdale through the fields and up Middle Fell and back. It is a friendly race with Cumbrian tatie pot to finish.

A Winter Ultra Challenge of 45 miles of the Pendle Way - with alternative option of 30 miles - on Saturday 6th 2021 open to Runners and Walkers from Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford.
The Brecon to Cardiff Ultra is a 70 Km race along the Taff Trail running through the Brecon Beacons National Park taking in stunning views. It is easy to navigate, making this an ideal first ultra or for experienced runners to post a fast time.

The Blacks to the Beacons Ultra 50 mile & Marathon Challenge will not disappoint. The Ultra 50 will take in the two highest peaks, while the marathon one. Both challenges will give you a taste of what these both range of mountains have to offer.
Starting in Otley and going via Ilkley, Burley, Baildon and Guiseley to Pool. Plenty of off road waymarked running over the staggering beauty of the moors around West Yorkshire. The first in the 2019 series of Punk Panther Ultra Marathons.
A tough, high moor route around Saddleworth Moor visiting 10 local Reservoir's. Each participant must navigate themselves around the route, visiting each checkpoint in the correct order.
The route is 90% trail on peaceful and scenic paths through rural Nottinghamshire following the two major tow paths/waterways in the area; 'Cuckoo Way' and the 'Trent Valley Way'. The event has four well stocked Aid Stations.

The Silva GL3D is a small but adventurous 3-day mountain marathon with a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Over the years the event has built up a dedicated following of competitors who enjoy time in the fells whilst their overnight kit is transported ahead.

12-hour ultra marathon on the Formartine & Buchan railway line between Maud station and Auchnagatt village hall, the total distance from Maud to Auchnagatt is estimated 4.5miles, competitors to run as much distance as they can within the time limit.
The Dales High Way itself is 90 miles, for those wishing to do 100 miles there is a loop via Dufton and High Cup Nick that adds an extra 10 miles and 2000ft climb after Appleby.
THE LAP SPRING FORWARD, a 45 mile clockwise Ultra Trail around Lake Windermere. Open to runners and walkers, fully way-marked and with generous cut-offs; it makes a great introduction to longer races or a fast, low level option for experienced racers.

The River South Tyne is born in the North Pennines and offers a very different landscape to that of the North Tyne Trail. The 70km route shows the rivers’ many different moods from tinkling trickle to majestic wilderness as it passes through an AONB.

Polzeath 10k is possibly our favourite route of the series and has ‘Summer Sessions’ written all over it! Starting and finishing on one of the best beaches in Cornwall, the 10k trail race then does a loop of Pentire headland on the coastpath.
