Set in the beautiful venue of Fell Foot Park, these sessions are ideal for swimmers wanting to gain confidence in open water swims, or for regular open water swimmers wanting some open water practice in a group session and a great way to get swimming fit.
This is Introduction session to Wild Swimming , starting at the beautiful Fell Foot Park at the bottom of Windermere and swimming down from the lake towards the river Kent. Swimmers are always amazed at the beautiful scenery & wildlife.
Catch the historic stream train along the shores of Llyn Tegid, Wales’ largest natural lake, to start your swim! Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, the lake has suberb views and plenty of wildlife to spot along the way.
Our Open Water Introduction sessions are aimed at all levels - whether you want to just tip your toe in the water and try Open Water for the first time, are looking to do wild swims or whether you have a particular swim or triathlon event to aim for.

All aboard the swim train! Catch the narrow gauge train to the end of Llyn Padarn to start your swim for a truly unique experience! With the spectacular backdrop of Snowdonia there are distance options from 1.3km to 9km!

Galloway Activity Centre will host the first Loch Ken night swim as part of the annual charity event in aid of Barnado's Scotland.
Galloway Activity Centre will host the annual Loch Ken Wild Swim on Saturday 10th September. This event will run throughout the day with options to enter the 1km, 2km or 4km swims or kids 100m swim.
After last year's first Loch Ken 10k, we're delighted to announce it's return as part of the 9th Loch Ken Wild Swimming weekend. A challenging 10km swim from Galloway Activity Centre to Crossmichael in some of the cleanest, calmest waters in Scotland

Starting with a rocket swimmers can race or leisurely complete one lap (500m) of the quarry. This should be long enough for you to experience the beauty of night swimming in the safe secure surroundings of the quarry.
