This weekend will give you all the essential skills needed for success at your next Mountain Marathon whether you are a first timer or experienced competitor searching for that extra edge.

The Three Peaks Race, which traverses Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside, is one of the oldest, most famous and best organised fell races in Britain. The Race covers 24 miles of the most rugged and spectacular countryside in the Yorkshire Dales.
runners will be transported by coach from wooler bus station to the start, ingram valley. From here you will make your way back to wooler following parts of the sandstone way.

The Hardmoors 110 Ultramarathon follows the dramatic Cleveland Way National Trail encircling the North Yorkshire Moors & the Cleveland Heritage coastline. Starting in Filey competitors will have 36 hours to complete the 110 mile single stage trail race
Whinlatter 10k is an approximately 10k trail race open to runners and nordic walkers set within the boundaries of the beautiful Whinlatter Forest, near Keswick in the Lake District. The race takes place on Saturday 25th May at 7.30pm.

The Scottish Orienteering Relay Championships are being staged at Drumlanrig, with its wonderful backdrop of the castle for the orienteering. Varied terrain awaits competitors: parkland, contour features and trickly sections of woodlands.
This is absolute gem of a 10k route, starting and ending in Druridge Bay Country Park. The run is on gravel tracks, grass, tarmac and firm sand, along the beautiful Druridge Bay beach. The Junior run is 2k, once around the paths of the Druridge Bay Lake.
The Austwick Amble Fell Race is a 13km loop in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park and takes in the spectacular scenery of Crummockdale. Held in conjunction with the Austwick Streetmarket it can be combined with a great day in the village.

Birketts' Race4Business is a 3.5 mile run starting in Chelmsford High Street. 2019's race is fundraising for Little Havens. It's a mainly flat course, and there is no minimum speed or fitness standard. We welcome individuals & teams (and fancy dress).

This is a 25 mile Challenge Walk from Elgin to Findhorn, mostly following the second half/night section of the Laich o’ Moray 50 mile route. Start time planned so that most people will see sunset at Findhorn beach during the end of walk BBQ.
A tough and extremely challenging 33 mile route with 10,000ft of ascent, the routes are packed full of stunning summits, punishing passes and delectable descents.

The Grand Tour of Skiddaw is an approximately 44 mile fully waymarked ultra trail race taking in the beautiful Northern Lake District with a climb up the mighty Skiddaw at the approximate halfway point, giving a total of 7136 feet of ascent.
A 4.2 mile loop on trail. Starting at 12 noon, runners will have 1 hour to complete a loop and be at the starting line ready to go again after 60 minutes - . This makes the event more difficult who will be the last one standing?, Pacing is everything!
The Final race in the Due North Trilogy. A shorter version of the 2018 Sharphaw Metric Marathon. The race starts with a climb over Sharphaw before dropping down to the picturesque village of Hetton.
The Harvest Hobble is a 26 or 13 mile walk or run on footpaths, tracks and some minor roads in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It follows part of the Viking Way as well as some lesser used paths. Participants are allowed up to 10 hours to complete the route.

We are hosting a 50 mile Ultra Marathon in and around the Furness Peninsula. This route will start and finish on Walney Island and will take in part of the Cumbria Coastal Way, the Cumbrian way and the Walney to Whitby trail.
Probably the most spectacular marathon in the UK or Ireland, the Causeway Coast Marathon will be an out and back route. The route is alomst entirely off road and will pass The Giants Causeway, Dunseverick Harbour, White Park Bay and Ballintoy Harbour.

The Lakeland Four Passes is a challenging route of 19(ish) miles taking in 4 of the Lake District's most scenic valleys & their adjoining passes. The route starts & finishes at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale, at the southern end of Derwent Water.
Lost Lad is a 8.5 mile fell race with 1981ft of elevation. Starting from the iconic dam wall at Fairholmes, the route will lead you out onto the shores of the Derwent reservoirs. Set to become one of the classics in the Peakdistrict.
