The Grand Tour of Skiddaw is an approximately 44 mile fully waymarked ultra trail race taking in the beautiful Northern Lake District with a climb up the mighty Skiddaw at the approximate halfway point, giving a total of 7136 feet of ascent.
A 4.2 mile loop on trail. Starting at 12 noon, runners will have 1 hour to complete a loop and be at the starting line ready to go again after 60 minutes - . This makes the event more difficult who will be the last one standing?, Pacing is everything!
The Final race in the Due North Trilogy. A shorter version of the 2018 Sharphaw Metric Marathon. The race starts with a climb over Sharphaw before dropping down to the picturesque village of Hetton.
The Harvest Hobble is a 26 or 13 mile walk or run on footpaths, tracks and some minor roads in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It follows part of the Viking Way as well as some lesser used paths. Participants are allowed up to 10 hours to complete the route.
The Type II Fun Run is an ultra like no other. Set in the Scottish Highlands on 31st Aug-1 Sep 2019. There will be no set course, no feed stations, no base camp, no massage tent, no mercy.

Welcome to Nairn’s East Beach. We offer you a pleasant day orienteering near Inverness with a range of courses to suit all ages and abilities including beginners. Terrain is varied, with forest, some grassland and sand dunes.
A run along the beautiful Northumberland coast from Alnmouth to Newton and back, taking in a spectacular coastline with pristine beaches and a castle.
On Sunday 1st September 2019, STAG Orienteering will host the Scottish Score Championships on a newly extended map of Faskally Woods & Pitlochry. The 40 minute course is all within Faskally Woods.
This route within the forestry at Coed Cefn-Pwll-Du has certainly got some elements of being a tough course but don't worry, you will be easily distracted by the stunning views!!

Run from the foot of the highest mountain in the UK to the top, then back again. Open to all amateurs aged 18 or over on 1st January 2019. The event takes place on Saturday 7th September 2019 at 1pm from New Town Park, Claggan, Fort William.
How far can you go? - The Glenmore 24 is Scotland’s 24 Hour Trail Race. Taking place in Glenmore Forest outside Aviemore, runners must see how many laps of the four mile trail they can complete in 24 hours. There’s also a 12 hour race option available.

The Bullock Smithy Hike is a 24 hour hike / ultra marathon through 56 miles of the glorious Peak District. Always the first full weekend in September (7th-8th September 2019)
THE LAP, a 45 mile anticlockwise Ultra Trail around Lake Windermere. Open to runners and walkers, fully way-marked and with generous cut-offs; it makes a great introduction to longer races or a fast, low level option for experienced racers.
The Poacher Run - 10k & 5k through lovely deciduous woodland trails, along a well-graded disused railway line and back via the gorgeous twisting river-bank paths of the Teviot. Flat and fast with an abundance of wildlife.

Ireland' Coast 2 Coast - 33km Mountain Run Only
The course is scenic and slightly undulating along Knowle Lane to Baynards Farm Estate entrance and onto Downs Link for the run to the FINISH In Snoxhall Playing Field. The ‘Downs Link’ is well maintained by the Surrey CC and Waverley BC.
The VOLCANO race - this is a high level route touching southern Dartmoor's highest point, and traversing rocky, boggy, sometimes extremely 'technical' terrain before reaching the focal point of the Race, the Red Lake Volcano.

The Dartmoor Trail Running Challenge is set to return for its second year at its new home at Holwell Down, just outside Widecombe-in-the-Moor, in the heart of Dartmoor.

A 23 mile walk/run from Gargrave Village Hall, Gargrave, Skipton, BD23 3RD in the picturesque setting of Malhamdale, visiting Kirkby Malham, Street Gate, Boss Moor and Eshton.

This is a fell race is over a rough, tough course with almost exclusively rocky and slippy ground. The weather in September is rarely 'pleasant' and the fells are often clagged in, making navigation difficult on a course with many pathless sections.

Kendal Torchlight 3k - a social run on the closed roads of Kendal Town Centre in advance of the Torchlight Procession
We are hosting a 50 mile Ultra Marathon in and around the Furness Peninsula. This route will start and finish on Walney Island and will take in part of the Cumbria Coastal Way, the Cumbrian way and the Walney to Whitby trail.
Probably the most spectacular marathon in the UK or Ireland, the Causeway Coast Marathon will be an out and back route. The route is alomst entirely off road and will pass The Giants Causeway, Dunseverick Harbour, White Park Bay and Ballintoy Harbour.

The Lakeland Four Passes is a challenging route of 19(ish) miles taking in 4 of the Lake District's most scenic valleys & their adjoining passes. The route starts & finishes at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale, at the southern end of Derwent Water.
Lost Lad is a 8.5 mile fell race with 1981ft of elevation. Starting from the iconic dam wall at Fairholmes, the route will lead you out onto the shores of the Derwent reservoirs. Set to become one of the classics in the Peakdistrict.
New for 2019 a marathon and a half around the running track at Shildon Leisure Centre Marathon (105 laps plus 195 metres), half marathon (52 laps plus 300 m) available. There will be a 6 hour cut off

The ROC Mountain Marathon is a two-day fell running and navigation challenge for solos and pairs with an overnight camp. Famously relaxed and welcoming, the fun and friendly atmosphere has proven a big success every year since 2007.

It's back! The 2nd Child Okeford Hill Race - from the Child Okeford Community Centre to the top of Hambledon Hill and back again over a marked and marshalled course.
The 'Penrose Loop' is a well known and loved route to run or walk, and makes for a perfect race! This is an approximately 10k race on the Trail around the Loe Pool, Cornwalls largest natural freshwater lake.
A real journey of a run, after getting the train to Kingussie we’ll follow tracks and trails through Badenoch and Glenfeshie, past Lochan an Eilean then through Rothiemurchas to end back in Aviemore. This 29km/18mile run will be sociably paced.
The Stoneybeck 10k, now in its 5th year, is a relatively flat road race around Cumbrian country lanes and will suit all abilities. The event is sponsored by Traybakes and all finishers will receive a delicious Traybake flapjack.
The ye olde yeavring trail race. 7 miles. Runners will be transported from wooler bus station to the start, old yeavring. From here is a testing 1 mile climb out to the st cuthberts way.returning to wooler.

New anti-clockwise 19 mile/+1450ft (walkers only) and 30 mile/+3020ft (walkers & runners) circular routes start from Guildford, visiting places in the beautiful Surrey Hills associated with the LDWA's founders.
This is a 22 mile completely off road race for solely dog runners (Canicrossers). Set in beautiful surroundings and awesome dog friendly trails in South Wales, you and you K9 partner will be tested on our off road route. 10 mile option also available.
Starting and finishing in the Moorland village of Peter Tavy and nestled below the wild Tors of West of Dartmoor. The Dartmoor 3 in ONE offers 3 races of 3 distances, all in ONE day. 22.5 miles in total. Races can also be entered individually.

A 15 or 25 mile circular challenge run or walk around the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors ran from the event HQ at Ravengill Scout Campsite - Commondale. There is a team of people there to support you throughout the day also providing refreshments.
Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Penicuik House trail race which is a challenging and hilly 6 mile route with tough conditions underfoot. The route takes in many of the landmarks the estate has to offer and gives amazing views of the Pentland hills.

The ‘Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay’ is a fell running relay race. It is set in the heart of the Lake District Fells over four legs and is the longest-running mountain relay in the country.
The Sheffield Tententen sees its 10th Edition in 2019. A multi-terrain 10k that has the joy of running at is heart, and a creative course that reflects this. Supporting this is the Funrun for the 4-14 year olds that attracts great support.

The North York Moors National Park in conjunction with the Hardmoors Race Series present the Turnpike Trot 10k Trail Race and the Rabbit Run 5k Trail Race. Each Trail Race is well marked and marshalled so no navigational skills are needed.

This is a fell race is over a rough, tough course with almost exclusively rocky and slippy ground. The weather in October is rarely 'pleasant' and the fells are often clagged in, making navigation difficult on a course with many pathless sections.

The Anglezarke Amble is a Challenge Walk taking in Rivington, Anglezarke and Turton Moors, through an area known locally as “Little Lake District”. There is a choice of distances, either 17 or 24 miles. Runners on Long route only.
