This is a fell race is over a rough, tough course with almost exclusively rocky and slippy ground. The weather in October is rarely 'pleasant' and the fells are often clagged in, making navigation difficult on a course with many pathless sections.

Tinto Hill Race is an A category short hill race up and down Tinto Hill which lies just south of Lanark. The race route is 4.4 miles long and includes 1500 feet of ascent.
Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chalkland Way with us. The route is a 40 mile circular waymarked route through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, starting and ending on the edge of Pocklington. This will be the 3rd edition of the sell out event.

Night-time trail run on the spectacular trails above the city of Winchester
Dunnerdale is a classic short race round the tiny but rugged fells between the Lickle and the Duddon valleys. The scenery is superb, the course is tough and varied and there’s a very nice pub at the finish.
The Hardmoors 26.2 is a series of 6 challenging Trail Marathons based in various beautiful locations in the North York Moors and on the Cleveland Heritage Coastline.
The Beacons Ultra is two 23 mile loops in the Brecon Beacons. The Trail Marathon is one loop but with the added bonus of an ascent up Pen y Fan. The Half Marathon is in & around the lovely village of Talybont On Usk at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons
A 50 mile race to compliment the Dartmoor Way Full Circle 100 mile event. The DW Granite 50 skirts the eastern section of the Moor and crosses several sections of open moorland. There is a maximum time allowance of 16 hours.
25 miles in the White Peak visiting Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Beresford Dale, Hartington, Monyash, Lathkill Dale, Bradford Dale, Middleton and Long Dale. Refreshments at checkpoints and meal at finish provided.

Callow Fell Race is a classic race which is a tough race for experienced fellrunners. Although it is an AS race (8km/762m 5 Miles/2400ft), it has been described by runners as one of the toughest races in Shropshire. WFRA registered race.

FRA AM race. Distance: 14.5km, height gain: 793 mtrs. Although the hills in Shropshire are not the highest, the course is quite gruelling and conditions on the summits can be testing, especially at this time of the year. Please come prepared.
A feature of Brixhams Christmas festivities since 2019. It is a 3k untimed charity event organised by Brixham Harriers and the Soroptomists. This year it is in aid of Shoalstone Pool.  Santa suits are included if needed

The Gathering Winter Fools Relay is an informal social run which uses public paths and roads from Keighley in a circular route. 4 Legs, run in pairs, with low level change over points invariably outside a pub!

THE LAP - Clockwise, is a fully way-marked 47 mile trail ultra around Lake Windermere. Open to both runners and walkers, with generous cut-offs; it makes a great introduction to longer races or a fast, low level option for experienced racers.

Competitors set off on the hour every hour to complete the 4.167 mile loop. Complete the loop within the hour to enter the next hour or become a DNF. All competitors will DNF until the last person to finish a loop by themselves is crowned the champion!

Hardmoors 160 as the name suggests will be a 160 mile single stage Ultra with over 7000 metres of ascent. Competitors will have 50hrs to complete the race. The Hardmoors 160 starts on Friday evening (1700).
