The Anglezarke Amble is a Challenge Walk taking in Rivington, Anglezarke and Turton Moors, through an area known locally as “Little Lake District”. There is a choice of distances for walkers, either 17 or 24 miles. Runners can only do the long route.
Runners have 1 hour to finish the 4.186 mile course before lining up and going again on the hour every hour. This will happen every hour until there is only one runner left. This runner is the last one standing the winner.
The Silverdale Circuit is an undulating but runnable 19 mile route with an ascent of Arnside Knott and Fairy Steps in the second half. It's packed full of stunning views and interesting features.

British Night Orienteering Championships 2024 will be held at Hawse End on the west shore of Derwent Water in the Lake District. The area features mainly runnable deciduous woodland with a path network and some contour and rock detail.
The Long Mynd Valleys is the classic Shropshire Fell Race - the route will be a new one for 2024. The first half consists of a mix of fast running, climbs and descents. The second half is steeper. There will be a mixture of marked route and route choice.
