Runners will be transported to the race start at 10.45 via coach. From here you will make your way back to Wooler following the St Cuthbert's Way and additional markers

CRPRC host their 6th annual Christmas 5k fun run on countryside paths around the town of Pontardawe. Runners are encouraged to run in fancy dress. Finishers get a commemorative medal, water, then into the pub for a mulled wine and mince pie. Spot prizes !
The Astley Park Festive 4 is a 4 miles running race in Astley Park Chorley. The minimum age is 14 years and there's also a free children's 1k event on the day. All of the money raised will be donated to Chorley Food Bank who are in desperate need of funds

The Hardmoors Superslam consists of 5 challenging ultra races based in various beautiful locations in the North York Moors and on the Cleveland Heritage Coastline. The Grandslam does not include the Hardwolds 80.
Resolution Sprint Series 2020. Start the New Year as you mean to go on - by going orienteering! This is a low-key event on 1st January - the focus is on good maps and good courses and bare-bones organisation.
1 hour score event at Low Park Wood, near Kendal. Mass start at 13:00. A nicely contoured area of woodland alongside the river Kent.

Chopwell Woodland Park is a 360-hectare mixed woodland on the fringe of Gateshead. The trails criss-cross through woodland, offering glimpses of the area’s industrial past and if you’re lucky you may spot one of the deer, badgers, red kites and squirrels.
There will be 2 races. 8.4 mile race which is 2 laps of the course and a 4.2 mile race which is 1 lap. These races will take place just before the Last One Standing Race.
Lets Run Adventures are planning a recce of the second half of the HM 55 - the route will follow the Cleveland Way from Cod Beck/ Scarth Nick to the finish at Helmsley which is around 25 miles.
The 'Last One Standing' is a race where competitors have 1 hour to complete a 4.2 mile loop. Competitors must be at the start line ready to start the loop again on the hour, every hour until only one competitor remains.
The Silverdale Circuit is an undulating but runnable 21 mile route with an ascent of Arnside Knott and Fairy Steps in the second half. It's packed full of stunning views and interesting features.

The 'KVK' is the first and only Vertical ascent based based race in the South West. Two laps of a specifically designed course to reach the magic number of 1000m (a Kilometer!) of ascent. 15 mile total distance of inland hills and coastal running.

How far can you go? - The Glenmore 24 is Scotland’s 24 Hour Trail Race. Taking place in Glenmore Forest outside Aviemore, runners must see how many laps of the four mile trail they can complete in 24 hours. There’s also a 12 hour race option available.
In the heart of the Peak District, Great Longstone Chase is a 7.7 km race that climbs a total of 290m onto Longstone Edge with stunning views. The runs starts at 6.30 p.m. from the recreation ground in the middle of the village.

A stunning 10k circular route around Piethorne and Ogden Res's. The route takes you on bridleways around the area including an out and back to Hollingworth Lake. Runners are treated to many twist and turns........as well as ups and downs!
The iconic Limestone Way runs through the heart of the limestone dales of the Peak District. Route options: Ultra 69km or Half 27.5km.
This involves everyone starting out on a Friday morning on a 10km loop of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs After 4 laps the elimination laps start and the person last to finish the next lap will be eliminated.
Circular 50m walk starting from Forres walking around the S&E of Forres, then heading along the Moray Coast paths and beaches to Lossiemouth. From here inland to Elgin on old railway line, then back to Forres via forestry, country lanes and Heldon Hill.
A self-nav 35 mile Dartmoor Crossing, the Race With No Name follows the Two Moors Way route (western route). There's a challenge event, which splits east at mile 8, before rejoining again near Widecombe (mile 17).

The Kong Mini Mountain Marathon series 2020 comprises of four x 4 hour fell running & navigation score events in North Wales, the Peak District and the Lake District. Best 3 results count towards a final league score with great prizes.
