Welcome to season 4 of Lakeland Paws. Whinlatter Tails: Seat How offers a fully marked, stunning choice of 2 routes: either 8k or 5k. Both routes have ascent but the 8k has 370m of up! We have no cut-offs.
November 2025
Welcome to season 4 of Lakeland Paws! This event is set in Dodd Wood and offers a fully marked course with stunning views across Bassenthwaite lake to the Coledale Fells on either an 8K or 5K option. Be warned ... it's lumpy!

Welcome to Lakeland Paws Series 4! This one is set in Grizedale and offers a fully marked course with stunning views across Coniston water on either a 10k or 5K option.
Back by popular demand! Dawn 2 Dusk canicross event. Based out of Whinlatter Forest, you can enter as a solo or pair and the aim is to complete as many 7km loops as possible in approx 8 hours of running. Be warned ... it isn't flat!

Welcome to season 4 with Lakeland Paws! Kick start your New Year's fitness with a fully marked, stunning 10k route with 380m of ascent at Whinlatter. More undulating than some of our other events, with a 5K with 200m of vert on offer too.
Race 1 of our exciting series, 5k and 8k fully marked canicross race with your dog. Set within the beautiful trails of Salcey Forest, this event offers the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of canicross in a fun and supportive environment.

Welcome to our second event at Grizedale in season 4 of Lakeland Paws. This one is set on the East side of the forest and offers a fully marked course in a beautiful location! This is our most runnable event - the 10k has 260m of vert and the 6K, 150m.

Race 3 of our exciting series, 5k and 8k fully marked canicross race with your dog. Set within the beautiful trails of Salcey Forest, this event offers the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of canicross in a fun and supportive environment.
This is our 7th event in our 4th series of Lakeland Paws and it's my personal favourite. A lovely runnable route with a choice of 2 distances, either 9k or 12k, which tours around Whinlatter top; beautiful views and visits quieter parts of the forest.

The first event in our finale weekend of the 4th series of Lakeland Paws. This one is set in Dodd Wood and offers a fully marked course with stunning views across Bassenthwaite lake to the Northern Fells on either an 8K or 5K option.
