Thank you for entering the first Peaks Enduro. The take up has been great considering it is the first event in the area and has sold out. If you are not able to make it to the event please help us to manage the event by cancelling your entry here
This is a trial event to see if we can make mountain bike racing work in the area and to see if the estate likes how it all works. If everything goes well there will be 6 further events in the area in 2026.
Please read this document as it will give you the information you need.
Helmets must be worn at correctly fitted whilst riding the stages and during transitions. Helmets must adhere to the British kite mark standard.
The trail fairies have been working hard to put 5 stages together. All the stages are on fresh dirt. All features are rollable and will be marked with signs. The stages and push up will be marked out clearly with tape and signs. Stage 4 goes down on to a public footpath. Please be polite to any other users whilst on the transition back.
Stage 5 is special as it has a timed sprint section of about 200M. There are 3 x £100 cash prizes available for the fastest attempt by:
Under 15
Non-ebike Female
Non-ebike Male
All stages are marked with tape where you can run French lines. The starts are fairly close together and the finish lines are all close to the push up which will maximise your ride time. PLEASE DO NOT RIDE ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE CUT OUT STAGES AS WE WOULD LIKE TO RETURN FOR FUTURE EVENTS.

At the end of the event when you hand in your SIAC (timing chip) we will provide a printout that shows a summary of times for all your attempts at the stages. You'll see a QR Code on the bottom of the printout and if you scan it with your phone, online results will appear, mobile or Wifi permitting.
You must hand in your SIAC before you leave the venue, otherwise there will be a charge of £60. These devices are valuable.
There will be toilets at the camping and car park. In the woods there will be refreshments which takes cash or card and portaloos. There will be no water fill points but there will be plenty of drinks on sale at a cheap rate. The BBQ will be lit on Saturday and Sunday at the Registration barn if you wish to use them for food and drink, this will be cash only due to poor signal. The food is good. Guys when you use the toilets, if your aim is as good as your riding talk, please clean up after you or lift the seat up to make more room for error.
Camping is next to the Barlow Hunt Kennels. The camping will be from 1430, this is due to a horse event taking place in the morning. The bar will be open and the BBQ will be lit. If you are wanting to buy food and drink please bring cash as the signal is poor for a card machine. The will be a Sauna on site for both days. If you wish to use this please pre book to secure a place at https://www.scandiboxsaunas.co.uk
Please park sensibly when arriving Sunday morning, we will all fit in.
The car park has 2 gates, one at the top, one at the bottom. Please use either gate. There should be a parking marshal on each gate.
The airbags may be out on Saturday evening. This will be £5 per rider to use for the duration of the evening. This will cover the cost off running them.
Spectators and pets are more than welcome to watch the racing. Please keep animals on leads at all times and clean up. Please stay clear of the stages. There is a public footpath that goes across the bottom of the woodland where the racing will be. There will be some drones flying in the area.
More than happy for riders to wear go pro cameras. Due to the liability all cameras must be mounted either on the bike or on top of the helmet. They CANNOT be worn on a chest mount or chin guard mount. This is because if you fall of they can cause serious injury.
Please do not fly drones in the area unless you have permission from the event organiser. There will be drones flying and taking footage already.
There will be marshals at the start of each stage. They will set you off at 20 seconds intervals. If you require longer you are more than welcome to ask for up to 45 seconds. The marshals are here for the safety of the event. They are giving their time on a Sunday so everyone can have fun. Please do not abuse them otherwise you will be asked to leave. If you know anyone who wishes to marshal we will pay £50 for the day and a pack lunch. They will be at the best viewing spots! Please pop me a message on 07792515709.
