CFRA - Wasdale Fell Race - Final Details

We hope you’re ready for and looking forward to the Wasdale fell race on the 12th July.

Please note the below IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

1) trackers are being trialled by the FRA at the race and all runners must carry one in addition to usual navigation and safety kit (below)

2) full kit will be mandatory and is:

Waterproof top (taped seams with hood) and bottoms, hat, gloves, map of course area, compass, whistle and emergency food.

There will be no Pete Bland van and no kit to buy at the event site, and the nearest outdoor shop is one mile from registration. Make sure you have full kit with you,

NO KIT NO RACE.

3) bring £3 (exact change please) in cash for parking per car (farmer generously provides and clears field for the event so this is a token payment for use of the site).

Results will not appear online immediately you finish as there is no mobile signal at the venue.  Expect to see results online in the early part of Saturday evening as we leave the valley.
