Penicuik Harriers Running Club
We are a friendly running club based in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland, and welcome adult runners of all ages and levels of fitness (aged 18 or over at any point in the year of membership) and pride ourselves in being a welcoming, supportive club catering for all abilities over road, cross country, trail and hills, and a wide range of distances from 5km to ultras.
New members are assured of a warm welcome, regardless of age or fitness. There are many advantages to being a club member with us, including excellent coached training sessions with our qualified coaches & jog leaders, support, friendship, and social events. We are also affiliated to Scottish Athletics through which we have associated UKA insurance cover.
Organised Club training includes weekly “Novice”, “Interval” and “Hill” sessions and our members also organise informal longer midweek or weekend “Social” runs over country or hill, generally arranged via Facebook.

- Individual member £25
- Family membership £40 - 2 adult members of the same family/partners living at the same address
- Friends of the Penicuik Harriers £10 - For anyone that wants to be associated with the Club but doesn’t train with or compete for the club. Also for athletes from other clubs that would like to sometimes train with us but represent a different club in competition.
