2027 is the 12th Edition of the original ultra-distance Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra

A great day of trail running and remains one of Ranger Ultras' most popular events which regularly sells out. Please don't leave your entry too late. Entry fee held at 2026 price for this 2027 edition.

NEW FOR 2027 - BOOST EXTENSION TO 50 MILES

How does this work?
Complete the original Ranger Ultras' Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra circuit.
On returning to Race HQ choose:
 1) To finish your day, collect your medal / trophy and enjoy a hot meal
 2) Or, head back out on the race extension to boost your distance to 50 miles
Boost runners will have access to their bag and hot refreshments for up to 30 minutes before leaving Race HQ.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra is an adventure for all ultra-racers, from first timers all the way to elite athletes. The route runs through superb and inspiring North Yorkshire scenery over classic limestone trails. Racers' reviews of race include "The best ultra I've ever raced"   "A instant classic"   "Fantastic experience"   "A gem of a race"

Start and finish is at the Hawes Market House and follows in the footsteps of Roman Legions over the Cam Road before taking the Yorkshire three peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent, returning along the Cam Road. Total distance 70 Km. Total Ascent 2185 metres.

Both the Yorkshire 3 Peaks 70km Ultra & Boost Extension to 50 miles counts towards to Ranger Ultras 2027 Grand Points competition.

The course is run over established trails, with generous cut off times. There will be Ranger Safety Team support at HQ, road head and hill top locations. Water, soft drinks, sweet & savoury snacks will be provided at road heads. Indoor hall resting is available on Saturday night for finishing racers (bring sleeping bag and mat if required). There is a tasty dinner and hot drinks for all racers at the finish and breakfast on Sunday morning.  Racers finishers medals and place categories.

Course notes and GPX file will be regularly emailed to all entries in the build up to the race.

For the 2027 edition we're resting the +30km extension, offering the boost extension to 50 miles total instead.
This is to give the Ranger Ultras Safety Team (RUSTies) more rest after their day of on-course marshaling and looking after participants at the finish.
