To get a waiting list entry just enter as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. If the Event Organiser is able to offer you a place they will send you an email inviting you to enter. You will then be asked to come back to this site and make your payment to confirm your entry. The walk will cover 24 miles in 10 hours, with a cut off point of 4pm at Carperby check point.
This is a winter challenge event, it is strongly recommended that each entrant carry: Map - OS Outdoor Leisure Sheet 30; whistle; compass; waterproof jacket and over-trousers; first-aid kit; survival bag or blanket; head torch, emergency rations and MUG.
Part of the challenge is to navigate the route yourself using public rights of way - please note THERE IS NO ROUTE DESCRIPTION.
Entry fee includes: Certificate, Refreshments at some CPs, Hot meal at finish with vegan option (please advise beforehand of any allergies)
Entry Limit is 130. Entries close when full or by 12th November 2026. NO ENTRIES OTD
Please bring a mug to use on the event.
Due to limited parking in Bainbridge village, event parking is available a little way along the road between Askrigg & Bainbridge. Please park as directed by the Marshalls. Please allow sufficient time for parking & arrival at Bainbridge for registration.

Registration from 06:45am (please be mindful of local residents)
Start 08.00am for Walkers and 07.50am for Runners.
