The Elan Valley Gravel

NEW FOR 2026
The Elan Valley Gravel Event lands for the very first time on 13/09/2026… and we genuinely think this one is going to become something special.

Set in the breathtaking wilderness of the Elan Valley, this brand new gravel adventure is all about huge scenery, endless rolling roads, remote tracks, epic climbs and that unbeatable feeling of freedom that only gravel riding gives you.

This is not your average gravel sportive.
This is a proper adventure ride through some of the wildest and most beautiful terrain the UK has to offer. Expect untouched landscapes, quiet mountain roads, rugged gravel sectors, hidden valleys and views that will absolutely blow you away.

For years the Elan Valley has been famous for mountain biking… now it’s time for gravel riders to experience what all the fuss is about.

Built with the same relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail that has made our MTB events so popular, the Elan Valley Gravel Event is designed for everyone. Whether you want to push yourself all day or simply enjoy an unforgettable ride with your mates, this event is about adventure, atmosphere and good times on bikes.

No racing. No pressure.
Just incredible riding in one of the UK’s most iconic cycling locations.

Expect:

• Stunning gravel roads and remote mountain passes
• Scenic flowing descents and rewarding climbs
• Fully planned GPX navigation
• Legendary feed station
• Chilled-out event vibes
• Finishers medal
• Free parking at Rhayader (LD6 5DP)
• A proper adventure from start to finish

This is gravel riding the way it should be — wild, social, challenging and unforgettable.

As with all our events, spaces will be LIMITED to keep the atmosphere right and ensure everyone gets the best possible experience. Once it’s full, it’s full.

So if you want to be part of the FIRST EVER Elan Valley Gravel Event and say you were there from the beginning… now’s your chance.
